Sandy brings over 20 years of experience in sales, leadership, training, enablement, and revenue operations to the industry. She has a proven track record of driving revenue growth and optimizing operations through data-driven insights and innovative solutions. She has led sales teams to exceed targets, developed effective go-to-market strategies, and implemented scalable processes to drive growth.

Sandy led Revenue Operations and Enablement at several SaaS companies, including Web.com, SupplyFrame and Nymbus. As VP of Revenue Operations at Nymbus, a FinTech, she led a team responsible for Revenue Operations and Enablement for the Enterprise SaaS marketing, sales, and customer success teams. In her current role as SVP of Revenue Operations and Enablement at Patra, Sandy is helping Patra build a revenue engine poised for scalable growth and buld the GTM plan for their new SaaS product launch.

She has a true understanding of what teams need and is committed to working collaboratively while challenging the status quo. Sandy’s passion is to enable teams through intense focus on the complete customer buying journey related to systems, tools, training, and processes. Sandy enjoys mentoring younger women, helping them to navigate their careers, and setting an example for other women in her field.

Robinson has a Graduate Certificate in Management and Leadership from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Sloan School of Management), a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the New York Institute of Technology, and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate from Villanova University. Here are a few takeaways that stuck with me:

✅ Outbound doesn’t have to take a quarter to launch anymore.
 Jeff walks through a simple 4-step approach that uses AI to do deep research fast: Company → Person → Offer → Messaging
 Then you generate sequences that are actually relevant—not “Hi {FirstName}” personalization.

✅ The “Baseball Card” concept is gold. Build a quick, consistent profile of an account + key stakeholder (signals, tech stack clues, triggers like new exec roles) so reps show up sharper and faster.

✅ Build vs. Buy isn’t a vibe—it’s TCO + technical debt. We talk total cost of ownership, speed/quality/cost tradeoffs, and why succession planning matters if someone builds something custom and then leaves.

✅ Human-in-the-loop is still the move for enterprise. AI can draft, research, and prep at scale—but for ABX/enterprise motions, the best results come when a rep reviews before hitting send.

✅ Jeff’s SPORTS framework keeps you grounded.
 Strategy → Process/Playbooks → Operating Rhythms → Targets/Thresholds/Trends → Systems. Most teams start with systems. This flips it.

🔥I’ve been planning, hosting + running kickoffs for… honestly, I’ve lost count at this point 😅

We wrapped ours this past week, and I’m still in a full-on kickoff hangover. But it was worth it. A few lessons learned while it’s fresh:

✅ Timing matters.
Week 2 is too early. It was rough coming back after the New Year and ramping back up. Last year we did Week 4 and it felt too late. Next year: Week 3 it is.

✅ Don’t overpack the agenda.
We did a solid job this year of leaving wiggle room, and that space gave us some grace and time to connect (real conversations, problem-solving, momentum).

✅ Build in learning… but keep it light.
Add exercises that are fun + meaningful, not “death by workshop.” The goal is energy and buy-in.

✅ Make every session interactive.
Even for presentations: bake in learning outcomes, questions, quick knowledge checks, friendly competitions, anything that keeps people engaged and smiling. Avoid “death by PowerPoint”

✅ Prioritize connection (especially for remote teams).
The most meaningful part for me is the time spent with people, talking, listening, and actually getting to know each other outside of video meetings.

✅ Dry-Runs - we did presenter dry runs this year, which was really helpful. It was great to connect with each speaker ahead of time and provide some feedback. I think next year I will start this process sooner.

There are quite a few things I would improve for next year, so make sure to get a survey out after the fact. Ours will be going out Monday, and our planning team already captured some takeaways and improvements for next year.

At the end of the day, a kickoff should be fun, and people should walk away with clarity, excitement, and a mission for the year.

One more tip: get a photographer. We did this year and it was a game-changer. If you need someone, Kelly Lamano Diaz did a phenomenal job (it’s her shot of me on the camera screen in this post 📸) - I can’t wait to get all of our pics!!
