Established and led the sales function in the region, taking on the responsibility of detailed solution engineering. Oversaw the recruitment, training, and development of the sales team in Japan. Steered solution selling and solution engineering for warehouse automation solutions, employing various technologies including AMRs, AGVs, automated sortation solutions, and intralogistics automation.

Sales Manager - Japan & South Korea

Collaborated closely with existing customers, comprehensively understanding their needs to achieve retention and nurture recurring revenue. Expanded the company's portfolio by acquiring new clients in the fashion, retail, and 3PL/logistics industries. Key responsibilities encompassed designing and developing logistics automation solutions utilizing sortation and put-to-light technology, along with evaluating the early adoption of goods-to-person automation solution in India.

Led a team of 8 professionals to strategically enhance sales and increase revenue share within existing accounts, concurrently securing new clients to diversify the company's portfolio. Spearheaded business development initiatives in the FMCG and Pharmaceutical verticals, successfully onboarding prestigious clients. Conducted monthly business reviews with clients, systematically tracking performance, identifying growth opportunities, and fortifying client relationships.

What pays my bills though, is designing, integrating and implementing warehouse automation solutions in our warehouses globally. Identifying and stating business problems, developing business solutions and delivering the solutions have been the highlights of my career. My career journey so far involves a wide variety of roles and skill sets including product management, business strategy, consultative sales, solution engineering and technology management.

Other things which define me are my people management skills,  servant leadership, ability to speak up and ask questions, and build a thriving work culture.

I was born and raised in India, lived, worked and inculcated best-in-the-world work ethics in Japan, and now am building my life and career in Copenhagen, Denmark. Passionate for solutions addressing climate change and driving ESG goals , I am on a learning journey towards this.

Avid traveler, working towards my goal of traveling to a 100 countries in this lifetime.
