Being the Graphic Designer for Warrington Youth Club has really developed my skills in all aspects of my practice. From receiving a brief, to communicating with the client and conceptualising and designing a successful outcome have all been valuable to my growth as a designer. Creating advertising and online material for social media is at the core of my role as well as creating artwork for both digital and print platforms. I am in charge of the digital marketing such as updating and formatting the website and social media platforms which has really developed my copy writing skills as well as my awareness of creating engaging social media content.

Completing a two week placement at Rapport Agency gave me a huge insight into the day to day life of a creative agency. During my time. I was given a number of live briefs which included brand identities, infographic design and layout work for clients whilst working collaboratively with designers and creatives. Working on these set briefs enhanced my Adobe skills significantly and improved the way I tackle briefs, especially when working to a tight deadline. I was able to take these valuable skills forward and apply them to my creative practice which is constantly growing.
