I am very intentional with keeping my AI usage to a minimum, particularly when it comes to creativity. 

It’s no secret that AI “writing” (and I use the term loosely) has taken over LinkedIn, and that it ranges in quality from “a bit shit” to “dystopian”. 

With that in mind, I approached using this tool with some trepidation. 

What happened next surprised me:

I love it, and can’t go back to not using it.

The way Wispr Flow works is simple: once you've installed the app on your computer, you simply hold down a key and Wispr Flow starts recording your dictation, no matter what app you’re using. 

Wispr Flow not only transcribes what you're saying but adds correct punctuation, line breaks, and so forth. By the time you review what you've just written, 95% of the tidying up and formatting has been done for you. 

This is very different to regular dictation into your phone, where you end up with misspellings, filler words, and a big mess that needs to be turned into something resembling decent writing.

For me at least, this tool has been a genuine game changer. When I’m ready to work on content, I just hold down a key on my computer and start talking. As a result, I get my shitty first draft done in five minutes, without losing my voice as a writer or outsourcing my creativity to AI. 

I've also installed the app on my phone. It works similarly there, which is great for when I get content ideas while I'm out and about.

Content creation can get overwhelming.

Showing up every week with high quality content is going to require at least a couple of hours of work.

If you’re a founder running a small business, it can be difficult to justify the time investment, especially with the LinkedIn algorithm being as challenging as it is now.

Most people give up before they ever find traction.


𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞
I’ve felt this struggle myself many times.

What works for me is to reframe how I think about content.

Instead of pouring time and energy into something I will post once, I treat every new piece of content as an addition to my “evergreen content library”.

I’m not “writing something to post on LinkedIn”.
I’m building a library of evergreen content assets.

I’m creating something I will use, and benefit from, for years to come.


𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞
I’m currently working on a case study about a client, Laura, who made $12,000 on LinkedIn a few weeks after we began working together.

Once the case study is written, I’ll turn it into a LinkedIn carousel.

Next, I’ll write a newsletter version, with more detail.

Finally, I’ll create a lead magnet for people who want to make their first $10k on LinkedIn.

𝐓𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭:
5 hours.


I’ll post it now, in February.

Then I’ll revisit everything in three months:

The writing and design
The newsletter subject line
The landing page and copy

This time, I’ll experience everything as a reader, not 
a writer. This will reveal opportunities to make everything better.

After applying those improvements, I’ll repeat the process:

I’ll post the carousel again.
I’ll send the newsletter again.
I’ll share the lead magnet again.

The first time, it took me 3 hours.
But this time, it will take 30 minutes.
The results will be the same or better.

I’ll repeat this same process every three months.
The content gets better and better.
The ROI on my initial work compounds.
The effort required is reduced to nearly nothing.
