→ Remove distractions. Focus fully on the person in front of you.

2. Ask Open Questions
→ Use "How" or "What" to spark deeper conversations.

3. Embrace Pauses
→ Silence allows others to think and share more meaningfully.

4. Listen to Understand
→ Don't plan your response—absorb their perspective fully.

5. Validate Their View
→ Acknowledge their input with phrases like "That makes sense."

6. Take Notes
→ Jot down key points to show you value their input.

7. Notice Nonverbal Cues
→ Tone, expressions, and posture often reveal more than words.

8. Follow Up
→ Act on what you hear and revisit important topics.

9. Stay Curious
→ Enter every conversation ready to learn.

10. Create Safety
→ Foster an environment where people feel heard and respected.
