Most people don’t resist success itself.

or standards lowered.

When someone reacts to discipline or boundaries,
it’s often because it exposes a difference in how
work gets done.

Calm preparation can unsettle last-minute scrambling.
Consistency can frustrate uneven effort.

Clear confidence can irritate those still second-
guessing.
A steady working rhythm can highlight chaos
without saying a word.

What shows up as criticism is often comparison.
Not disagreement, just discomfort with the contrast.

There’s no need to explain consistency.

Right stays right.
Even when

Stress doesn’t come from what’s outside your control.
It comes from not acting on what is in your control.

Conversations you keep postponing.
Tasks you know you should start but don’t.

The mind doesn’t forget them.

That’s stress.
