Ulrich Buckenlei, born on 07 January 1975 in Regensburg, Germany, holds a degree in Technical Writing with a focus on Technical Illustration and an MBA from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) as Master of Business Administration in Management of Innovation and Leadership.

After almost 10 years of professional experience as a full-time 3D real-time virtual reality developer and designer in the aerospace, medical research and automotive industries, Ulrich Buckenlei founded VISORIC GmbH in Ingolstadt in 2010. 

Since then, he has represented the company as owner, managing director and creative director. Today, based in Munich, a two-minute walk from the Stachus, the company sees itself as a team of experts for the development, programming and design of cloud-based 3D real-time production environments as well as high-quality 3D real-time virtual experiences of all kinds. 

VISORIC GmbH supports firefighters from various industries and sectors, including many well-known companies and brands such as BMW, Audi and Siemens, ZDF, Versicherungskammer Bayern or the Discovery Channel in successfully implementing innovative technologies such as augmented reality, virtual reality or 3D real-time visualization in the company.

In addition to individual XR software development and XR design, Ulrich Buckenlei and his team have also been offering the XR Stager® Cloud Solution Platform since 2022.
