As a Risk Advisory & IT Compliance Manager at EY, I led internal audits for clients across finance, banking, asset management, insurance, and real estate - yes, the industries where a single oversight can cause a very expensive oopsie.

I presented findings directly to boards and audit committees, often translating tech-speak into human so executives could actually take action (a skill that comes in handy when simplifying business strategy today).

Oh - and I also set up and led EY’s Technology & Security Risk Services department in southern Sweden. Basically, I built the thing from the ground up. 

No templates. No shortcuts. Just systems, strategy, and coffee.

Today, I take that same sharp, structured approach - minus the corporate red tape - and apply it to help coaches and service providers build businesses that are not only profitable… but built to last.

When a major regulatory requirement (the Sarbanes Oxley Act - SOX) landed on our desks, most people dreaded it. I saw an opportunity.

I led the conceptual set-up and successful implementation of SOX across the Group - from designing the framework to ensuring the branches understood not only what to do, but why it mattered.

As a specialist in processes and internal controls over financial reporting, I:
→ Developed guidance and training materials that simplified a complex regulation
→ Traveled globally to train teams across different regions, adapting the approach to meet local needs and cultures

KPMG was my first role after university, and it set the foundation for everything that followed. 

I joined the Financial Services Banking Department, quickly stepping into high-responsibility work that gave me a front-row seat to how the financial world really operates.

I managed statutory and regulatory audits - including in-depth reviews of anti-money laundering controls, credit risk, operational risk, and compliance processes - for both medium and large banks as well as small securities dealers.

But beyond the technical expertise, KPMG taught me some of my most important early career lessons:
→ The power of strong, inspiring leadership — and the risks when it's missing
→ The subtle dynamics of “inner circles” and how exclusion can quietly erode trust and culture
→ The importance of integrity, community, and leading with transparency - values I carry into everything I do today

It was fast-paced, challenging, and exciting - and it lit the spark for the leadership and business transformation work I do now.

My first real taste of leadership, resistance, and the quiet strength of saying no.

Straight out of college, I landed a secure job at a small company (thanks to my mom pulling some strings - she was devastated when I later left to study, because to her, security was everything).

I was the only woman in the office. 
So naturally, I was expected to not only manage the accounting but also run reception, AND make the coffee. 
Every day.
For 20 grown men. 
That didn’t last long.

I spoke up, we split the tasks fairly, and I got back to doing the work I was actually hired for - managing the books and helping implement a new accounting system. 

I even created step-by-step user manuals for the system that were still in use years later.

This is also where I started to see - even in one of the most gender-equal countries in the world - how women were often treated differently. 

I learned that if I wanted to grow, I’d have to carve my own path. 

I knew I had more in me than a job that didn’t fully see me - and I made the bold move to walk away from “safe” and pursue something greater.

The past two years have been extraordinary. With the guidance of my business coach and dear friend Josefine Wanner I have been pushed into growth I did not even know was possible. Thank you for being you💛 

I have launched new programs, expanded my 1:1 coaching, and welcomed more clients than ever before, both nationally and internationally. Your trust is everything to me. There is no “me” without you.

This year I also brought two podcasts to life, oh yes! Love to share different topics with you! 🎙️🎙️

Privately, I became a grandmother to two beautiful grandchildren, my everything my hearts. As a person I have traveled deep within myself, trusting, healing, and transformed to better, embracing and I never been more curious of everything haha, eating life
