I appeared on behalf of clients at hearings, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations, and at trial serving as First Chair.

In this role, I researched statues and case law to build internal memos and reports on City Council legislation, defending against challenges to City Council laws governing labor, healthcare, and small businesses.  

I advised Council members on litigation, legislation, internal investigations, and compliance.  Specific topics included legislative privilege, ethics, and conflicts of interest.

This role involved engagement with the New York City Conflicts of Interest Board on behalf of Council Members and staff.

I also drafted and filed motions at the state and federal level.
