- Develop and deliver training programs for clinical staff, including nurses, mental health clinicians, social workers, and care coordinators.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Centene's standards.
- Provide ongoing support and education to staff on clinical best practices and new initiatives.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify training needs and develop solutions.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities and employee progress.
- Stay current with industry trends and developments to enhance training programs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for clinical policies and procedures for STAR Health.

Clinical Trainer (Superior HealthPlan)

Wellvana Health

Delivered data-driven, patient-centric, value-based care through collaboration across the care continuum to decrease fragments in care and optimize patient outcomes, decrease cost, and improve quality.
•	Developed videos, slide decks, and job aids to be used during staff procedures training using video production tools, PowerPoint, EdApp, quick reference guides, etc.
•	Collaborated with fellow care managers and the leadership team to launch a new RN care management program involving discharge and complex care management.

RN Care Manager

Elara Caring 

Led the design and implementation of company-wide training for 32,000 caregivers across 200+ locations in 16 states. 
•	Designed and delivered the 2021 Home Health Final Rule IV HIT benefit curriculum to company team members, contributing to improved billing compliance and reduced denied claims.
•	Transformed the Registered Nurse assessment training presentation to enhance learner engagement, achieving an average evaluation rating of 4.5 out of 5. 
•	Served as a subject matter expert in home health policy and procedures, offering education and mentorship to clinical and non-clinical staff. 
•	Managed various administrative tasks within the Learning Management System (LMS), including password retrieval, course registration, troubleshooting, and more. 
•	Enabled seamless onboarding and transition to independent work through effective collaboration with the branch manager, resulting in a decrease in employee turnover from 31% to 4% within the first two months.

Staff Educator (Learning and Development)

Managed day-to-day operations, established strategic direction, and trained office and field staff on new policies, state and federal guidelines, documentation, and star ratings. 
•	Conducted on-site training sessions for new or underperforming clinical team managers, resulting in improved branch outcomes. 
•	Integrated survey results and organizational goals to provide education on operations compliance, Medicare CoPs, and the implementation of quality standards. 
•	Evaluated OASIS and other workflows for accuracy and compliance with CMS guidelines, leading to improved star ratings. 
•	Ensured compliance with CMS, managed care, commercial payor, and operations clinician utilization guidelines through consistent review and implementation.

Clinical Team Manager

Managed a case load of 20-25 patients across a sixteen city service area throughout the episode of care using HCHB EMR software.
•Performed comprehensive patient assessments under various payors, including Medicare, Managed Medicare (i.e., myNEXUS via InterQual), Medicaid, and Private insurance.
•Ensured documentation demonstrated patient findings and supported medical necessity throughout the continuum of care.
•Developed progressive care plans to promote medical recovery, proper utilization of visits, and regulatory supervisory visits to help patients return to better or prior levels of functioning.
•Maintained strict patient data procedures to comply with HIPAA laws and prevent information breaches.
