I'm Chief Business Officer for Zensai (zensai.com) - where I run Product, Marketing, Partnerships, and GTM.

Throughout my career I've held executive leadership roles in high growth companies of all sizes, including Matterport (IPO) WeWork (near IPO), Salesforce, LinkedIn, Box (IPO), Veritas, and Vera (acquired).

Reporting directly to BlackLine's Chief Strategy Officer, I serve a passionate team of 25 BlackLiners dedicated to building the BlackLine brand and telling our differentiated story to a global audience—every day. I was responsible for developing and executing branding, global event and content strategies that drove engagement, growth and enhanced brand equity and awareness, drove both top and bottom of funnel performance for BL and raised overall business awareness.

Leadership across field marketing, events, brand, creative services, ABM and programs, and customer advocacy.

Built the product marketing function and go-to-market strategy at BlackLine across Mid-Market, Enterprise, and Strategic segments. From the ground-up, I hired and built the product marketing, analyst relations, and client marketing functions to increase the sales win rates, enable greater deal sizes, and launch ambitious products that newly targeted CFO/CAO buyer personas. My team built effective core product positioning and messaging, sales narratives, complete pricing updates and analysis, product/solution packaging, content marketing, sales tools, competitive data, quarterly W/L analysis, client advocacy, and multi-product ROI/case studies. I led a team of (10) product marketing managers and a client marketing manager. We established the ‘Finance Controls and Automation’ category and built the ‘Trust is in the Balance’ narrative. In this role, BlackLine received its leadership placement in Gartner's inaugural Magic Quadrant for Finance CPM in 2016- then consistently improving placement in 2017, 2018, and beyond.

First product marketing hire at BlackLine. Brought in to oversee platform/product marketing, analyst relations, and client advocacy. Joined BL at $65M ARR in 2014.
