Robin Dimond is the CEO and Founder of Fifth & Cor, a marketing & innovation company. Dimond brings over 18 years of marketing experience that has led to a successful team and client success stories over the years. Passionate about the human experience, Dimond strives to bring sensory experiences and the heart back into all her team’s work, thus comes the name - Fifth (five senses) & Cor (Latin for heart).

Dimond strives to not only transform brands, but also communities. She sits on four school boards, participates in various charities, and finds opportunities to empower the next generation through technology and marketing advancement. Dimond is also involved in the technology advancement in South Florida and is a member of several community organizations where she finds opportunities to uplift business owners all nationally and globally.

Sourdough Saturdays: The Perfect Food for Thought

Like many things in my life, I jumped headfirst into making my own sourdough captivated by the romance of it, the simplicity of it, the idea of it. What I didn’t see was the reality waiting behind the scenes.

From the outside, baking bread feels charming, almost effortless. But the truth? It’s patience. It’s discipline. It’s failure. It’s sticky counters, missed steps, and starters that refuse to cooperate. It’s nurturing something daily while juggling a life that doesn’t slow down. It’s believing you’ve done everything right… only to realize you never even turned on the oven.

And that’s when it hit me.

This was never really about sourdough.

It’s about entrepreneurship. It’s about the unseen weight of building something from nothing. The constant tending, the setbacks no one applauds, the quiet frustrations, and the resilience required to keep going anyway. From the outside, people see the finished loaf the success, the growth, the wins. They don’t see the early mornings, the missteps, the doubts, or the relentless effort it took to get there.

People will always say, “Why not just buy the bread?”

But if you’ve ever built something of your own, you know it was never about the bread. It’s about the creation. The process. The belief that something you nurture, struggle through, and refuse to abandon becomes far more meaningful than something you simply pick up off a shelf.

Dreams, like sourdough, demand to be fed.
Neglect them, and they fade.
Commit to them, and they rise.

Behind every beautiful result is a story most people never hear.
