I'm different from your typical career coach because I don't come from the HR pool. 

The traditional HR-minded approach focuses on HOW to land a job (e.g. optimize resume and pitch and interviewing skills). But this approach is useless if you are trying to figure out WHAT job to land. 

I spent 20 years launching new products and brands, Along the way, I reinvented my own career 9 times.

The challenge of APAC Pole was in the absence of a Management Operating system (MOS, some processes were broken), risk identification at an early stage; immature finance team, as a result not meeting KPIs. Pole was the last from the bottom in performance. After 18 months of turnaround it became the best performing one. My secondment to Asia was completed successfully in Dec 2019, when I returned back to Prague but maintained control for one quarter of 2020 while handover to acting leader. The complete handover of people management activities took place in March 2021.

Having moved into Finance Lead role at Honeywell PAS in 2011 for Central/Eastern Europe and North Asia. I took over as Finance Lead for Central/Eastern Europe, Caspian, and Middle East in 2012.Currently I took over Northern Europe (the UK and Scandinavian country). I am now responsible for 3 regions with a total revenue of $300M across 500 projects. I take full responsibility for performance measurement, forecasting and financial planning and analysis.

I also act as a finance business partner to PMC leaders supporting sustainable and profitable growth of the HPS projects business in those regions and achieving results for the short term Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and the five year Strategic Plan (STRAP) period.

I was hired as Finance Lead for Eastern Europe, with a total revenue of $120M across c.200 projects. The role covered 11 countries and 12 offices with 4 direct reports & 10 matrix reports. Total regional headcount of 500+ internal stakeholders across the business.

- Reduced past dues from 70% to 10% within 3 months through the process change in billing and reconsidering the global contract terms with Chevron (TCO);
- Supported an opening the Atyrau branch within few months;

Under Chancellor Financial Sector Scheme program, I was selected for a 6-month secondment in mobile telecommunication industry. Under this program of the British Government only 2000 people of the former Soviet Union got placements after passing language exam and professional tests and interviews. From Kazakhstan there were 10 people selected only.

Intecell Ltd was a private company, located in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, which co-operated with all mobile providers, such as Vodafone, Cellnet, One2One and Orange, for reselling services and hardware. Later the company was sold to Nortel. 

One of the key customers were The Royal family.

My accomplishments during that secondent were, but not limited to:

- created and implemented the credit policy for customers, after deep analysis of customer base;

- Initiated and completed physical count of fixed assets and database, and set up the data base for intangible assets;

- performed a deep analysis of OPEX and modeling of different scenarios.
