The traditional HR-minded approach focuses on HOW to land a job (e.g. optimize resume and pitch and interviewing skills). But this approach is useless if you are trying to figure out WHAT job to land. 

I spent 20 years launching new products and brands, Along the way, I reinvented my own career 9 times.

I know how it feels to be stuck in a long mid-career limbo, sifting through hundreds of jobs online in search of an answer and feeling like nothing fits. I've experienced the same anxiety, frustration, and self-doubt you may be experiencing right now.

As a pioneer in Microsoft's HoloLens Agency Readiness Program, I transformed abstract ideas into tangible MR, AR, and VR experiences. From reimagining your living room as Disneyland to turning your office into an art gallery, I've been at the forefront of making the impossible, possible.
Using hardware, tools, and platforms like Microsoft’s HoloLens, HTC’s Vive, and Unity, I took abstract ideas and turned them into real user experiences. With each iteration of a concept, demo, or lab project, I pushed to create interactions users understood intuitively. The goal was to bridge the gap from sci-fi to non-fi.

I participate in the flourishing MR, AR, and VR communities, talks, and discussions to further the understanding and potential of these emerging technologies.

Through Angular, creative vision, and the good fortune of being surrounded by a fantastic developer team, I worked to help build the next big thing (Samsung, please do not sue. You make great TVs) in interactive and socially rewarding apps. 

Whether creating and improving the performance of Angular driven webviews, assisting the backend team with Node.js/JavaScipt endpoints and mocha testing, or working directly with our e-commerce partners, my goal was to help incroud become a household name.

Secondary skills included: Talking up Philz Coffee and Groundwork Coffee Co., "occasionally" not putting holes in the wall behind the company dartboard, and renting a lane at the bowling alley by myself.

The Gold Guys is a precious metals buying boutique founded in 2008 in the great state of Minnesota. We have since helped over 50,000 customers throughout our 13 locations. Our outgoing and positive attitude approach to a typically "strictly business" industry has earned us many appearances on local news media, such as Twin Cities Live, Fox 5 Las Vegas, and even alongside former UFC champion Forrest Griffin. We are very proud to be a part of the community and work with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Susan G. Komen Walk-for-the-Cure, and L.A. Love & Leashes.

As one of the early members to the Gold Guys team, was directly responsible for the building out, staffing, and training of eight locations. Authored the company training manual and developed the standard for assayer presentations. Handled legal documents needed to meet state and federal industry requirements. As a growing company, was also directly involved with building relationships with key advertising partners including Orange County's The Fish radio, Toyota, and smaller local outlets. 

Currently migrated into the role of directly managing three of our California locations. Responsibilities include handling staffing, scheduling, pricing structures, competitor analysis, quality control, gold assaying, diamond appraising, and working face-to-face with our customers.

Skills required included vast knowledge of products, ability to demonstrate benefits of these products and design audio/video systems to fit customers' budgets, and technical competency to install and fine tune equipment. Connecting with customers on a one-to-one level led to deepened loyalty and increased future business.

Won the 32 store company-wide award for "Best Sales Presentation" in 2007 and runner-up in 2008. Awards included all expensed trips to Las Vegas and Beaver Creek, CO, cash bonuses, and VIP treatment alongside the company owner.

From nights spent teaching myself in bookstores, I learned by diving in—a journey that took me from barely finishing high school to having my work used on some of the world’s largest construction job sites and appearing live on TV. This unorthodox path shaped me into a relentless, out-of-the-box thinker with a knack for turning complex tech into practical, down-to-earth tools—and making it easy for others to understand.

While my focus has always been AR, I’ve also helped organizations modernize outdated workflows using both custom and off-the-shelf AI. I simplify the complex, make work easier, and help people get more out of powerful tech.
