With plenty experience in process planning for sheet metal components, carry significant expertise in the aerospace sector, working with two leading Indian aerospace giants: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL). My role has involved designing and optimizing manufacturing processes for precision sheet metal components, ensuring they meet strict aerospace standards and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities and achievements include:
- **Process Design & Optimization**: Developing and refining manufacturing processes (Hydro press, rubber press, rolling, bending, stretch forming, CNC machining 3A & 5A as wall as heat treatment and surface treatments for sheet metal parts based on type of material/alloy, material condition and customer specifications, focusing on quality, cost-efficiency, and turnaround time.
- **Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams**: Working closely with design, engineering, production and quality teams and customer as well to ensure seamless integration of processes and adherence to design specifications product requirements.
- **Tooling and Equipment Selection**: Assisting in the selection of appropriate fixtures & tooling such as forming tools, punch & dies, NC trimming/milling fixtures, inspection fixtures, drillling jigs, etc. and machinery for sheet metal fabrication, ensuring they align with production requirements and capabilities to ensure precision.
- **Quality Control & Compliance**: Ensuring that all processes comply with aerospace industry standards, such as AS9100, AS9102 and that products meet high-quality benchmarks through rigorous testing and inspection. Expertise with APQP, FMEA and PPAP to assure quality products that meets all quality requirements as per AS9145. Work with quality teams for inspection methodology, MSA for precision in inspection and SPC for production process stability.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to identify and eliminate process inefficiencies, driving productivity improvements.
- **Documentation & Reporting**: Preparing detailed process plans, work instructions, and process flow charts, ensuring proper documentation for traceability, regulatory compliance & FAI (First Article Inspection) submission.

My experience in both HAL and TASL has equipped me with a deep understanding of the aerospace manufacturing & special processes, enabling me to manage complex projects and contribute to the development of critical aerospace components that meets customer expectation and esures timely delivery.
