Devtailor is a product development company in Estonia. We produce future-proof software and hardware solutions for clients with a portfolio of over 100 projects. 

Our experiences range from IoT to financial technologies. Intelligent lockboxes allow in-trunk package delivery, car rental, theft protection and other mobility services. We build mobile banking apps and develop a payment service provider moving Bitcoins and Litecoins for strongly regulated industries.

I started programming in middle school 23 years ago and built a career as an engineer and software development team leader. As a startup co-founder, software leader and product consultant total number of project contributions lost count after 100.

My strength is product execution. There is always a way to solve a problem, and there are always problems for innovators to tackle.

In 2015 I co-founded development company Devtailor. We are a product team unit offering RnD, business and tech know-how.

I turn 38 today.

At 37, it felt like being 17 again with 20 years of extra experience.
A mix of rediscovery and rebuilding.

I worked on 8 projects across e-commerce, AI, sports, payments and gaming.

As a birthday gift to myself I signed up for the Tour de France for amateurs. 
170 kilometers, 4 iconic climbs, 5400 meters of elevation.
Mid-life crisis officially confirmed.

Family life stayed full with 3 kids: the first off to school, her 4yo brothers turning every day into an adventure.
We somehow ended up with a cat, now asleep on my lap.
She wasn’t my idea, but she chose me anyway.

Software Engineer

Superfluid

- Owner of the smart contracts, subgraph of AlfaFrens and assisted in the backend and frontend
- Played a pivotal role in designing and implementing innovative key features for Superfluid protocol's core smart contracts, including 3Ps, minimum deposit, ACL, and App Credit Rule CFA-2
- Led the development and ownership of the Superfluid Developer SDK: SDK-core
- Managed the Superfluid Subgraph project (https://thegraph.com), enhancing blockchain data indexing for a user-friendly client query experience
- Refined and expanded the Superfluid subgraphs' data offerings with the addition of event entities, aggregate data entities, and a revamp of existing entities
- Integrated multi-network Subgraph deployment and comprehensive end-to-end testing into the CI pipeline using Github Actions
- Championed the transition from Truffle to Hardhat, significantly improving developer experience with faster contract compilation, testing speeds, and halving smart contract test CI build time (from ~1h to ~30mins)
- Upgraded ethereum-contracts package test code from JavaScript to TypeScript, enabling a more efficient and enjoyable test writing and refactoring experience

Senior Web3 Engineer

- Built a smart contract prototype of a lending vault which allowed whitelisted users to borrow funds which accrued interest every block by depositing an NFT into the vault for Wurla
- Worked on an NFT liquidity provisioning protocol which involved architecting a tokenomic design that utilized Uniswap's TWAP (Time Weighted Average Price) oracles as a price feed for liquidity

Smart Contract Engineer

UpTop

Utilized Typescript React to implement v1 of the UpTop renter platform which allows renters to engage in the five stages of renting (search, schedule, apply, sign and pay). 
Built out the further search functionality by displaying neighborhoods, cities and states obtained from Google Places API with existing listings on our database sorted by distance using the Haversine formula based on input query.
Built out the business logic and UI for the transactions ledger for our v1 accounting software on the Owner website. In addition, overhauled existing components and built several new components for our accounting feature.

Deloitte

Worked in Deloitte's consulting department with BMW as a client, was responsible for implementing the frontend of BMW's IT Management System. Worked alongside the web designer and backend developer during the implementation. Also prepared a PowerPoint presentation for another client: McDonald's.

Front-End Web Developer Intern

Worked in both the IT Advisory and Tax department at EY. While working with the IT advisory team, I conducted research for the client: Huawei, aiding senior managers by conducting and compiling research on the plausibility of entering developing markets for mobile payment. While in the Tax department, I researched Chinese tax laws and sat in on meetings between partners, bank officials and government officials when China was conducting its VAT tax reform.
