Devtailor is a product development company in Estonia. We produce future-proof software and hardware solutions for clients with a portfolio of over 100 projects. 

Our experiences range from IoT to financial technologies. Intelligent lockboxes allow in-trunk package delivery, car rental, theft protection and other mobility services. We build mobile banking apps and develop a payment service provider moving Bitcoins and Litecoins for strongly regulated industries.

I help European sports companies with early and growth stage digital product planning, development and tech leadership. 

I started programming in middle school 23 years ago and built a career as an engineer and software development team leader. As a startup co-founder, software leader and product consultant total number of project contributions lost count after 100.

My strength is product execution. There is always a way to solve a problem, and there are always problems for innovators to tackle.

In 2015 I co-founded development company Devtailor. We are a product team unit offering RnD, business and tech know-how.

I turn 38 today.

At 37, it felt like being 17 again with 20 years of extra experience.
A mix of rediscovery and rebuilding.

I worked on 8 projects across e-commerce, AI, sports, payments and gaming.
Tried a lot, failed a lot, learned a lot.

As a birthday gift to myself I signed up for the Tour de France for amateurs. 
170 kilometers, 4 iconic climbs, 5400 meters of elevation.
Mid-life crisis officially confirmed.

Family life stayed full with 3 kids: the first off to school, her 4yo brothers turning every day into an adventure.
We somehow ended up with a cat, now asleep on my lap.
She wasn’t my idea, but she chose me anyway.

At 38 I want to be like an 18-year-old with 20 years of extra experience.

Devtailor OÜ

I manage a team of approximately 10 software engineers, including both developers and testers. My key responsibilities include the following:

- Leading and mentoring developers and testers to foster collaboration and excellence.
- Establishing and employing company-wide coding conventions, best practices and development processes to increase efficiency and ensure the best quality.
- Continuing to serve as a lead software developer in numerous projects to provide hands-on expertise and guidance.

In this role I blend strategic oversight with hands-on development to deliver exceptional software that exceed our customers’ expectations.

With over a decade of experience in the software development field, I have been involved in nearly every aspect of the development lifecycle, from analysis and design to deployment and maintenance. My expertise spans a wide range of areas, including control systems, web apps and mobile apps.

In the past seven years, I have increasingly taken on leadership and management responsibilities while continuing to serve as a hands-on individual contributor. This blend of technical expertise and leadership allows me to effectively guide teams and deliver high-quality software.
