For over two decades, I have been helping organizations leverage subscription pricing, digital communities, and freemium models to build deeper relationships with their customers and generate predictable recurring revenue. I am the founder of Peninsula Strategies, a consulting firm that has worked with some of the most well-regarded brands in the world, such as Netflix, Microsoft, and the Wall Street Journal, as well as with visionary start-up entrepreneurs and mission-driven nonprofits and associations.

I am also an advisor, a speaker, an educator, and an author. I serve on the advisory board of Strava, a social network for athletes, and I share my insights and expertise on subscription and membership models through keynote speeches, podcasts, and LinkedIn Learning courses. I have written two books, The Membership Economy and The Forever Transaction, that anticipated and defined the massive transformation from ownership to membership and the rise of subscription pricing. My passion is to help organizations create forever transactions with the people they serve and achieve long-term growth and sustainability.

In my role as Owner at MELANGE, I have spearheaded the creation of a luxury womenswear brand that celebrates artisanal craftsmanship and individual expression. By curating a collection of sophisticated, enduring pieces, I have cultivated a reputation for creating timeless designs that resonate with our clientele. Through our flagship store and digital atelier, I have fostered a personal connection with our customers, crafting experiences and relationships that transcend traditional retail.

Chandan Allen Designs Pvt. Ltd.

As the Owner & Creative Director of Chandan Allen Designs Pvt. Ltd., I spearheaded the establishment of a production house catering to the US luxury market. With a dedicated team in Mumbai, we achieved a manufacturing capacity of 700-1000 units per month, showcasing three collections annually for the "Melange" label.

Aruna Clothing and Textiles

• Managed a diverse selection of Ready to Wear Clothing to Couture collection, promoting local designers and showcasing their designs.
• Led the sampling division, overseeing Pattern Maker and Seamstress for Sampling and small units of Production.
• Collaborated with local artisans to stock jewellery, accessories, handbags, shoes, and jewellery imported from India.

Schlumberger

In my role at Schlumberger, I ensured accurate billing and invoicing for clients such as ONGC and Enron. By meticulously entering data into accounting software and resolving billing errors, I contributed to the company's successful marketing efforts.

Marketing

At the helm of MELANGE for over nine years, the journey has been marked by a steadfast dedication to artisanal excellence and the creation of bespoke women's wear that resonates on a global scale. With the launch of "The Sancy" and the impending global debut of "The Mola", our team has been at the forefront of blending traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation, consistently delivering luxury apparel that caters to the discerning tastes of Silicon Valley's elite.

As Creative Director for Chandan Allen Designs, the focus has been on orchestrating a full-scale production house that seamlessly translates design concepts into high-end retail experiences. This commitment to fashion buying, merchandising, and design has been instrumental in the successful retailing of the "Melange" label in the competitive US luxury market. The organization excels in sustainable practices, producing limited quantities to ensure exclusivity and quality, underscoring our core value of sustainability and respect for the meticulous creation process.
