FINANCIAL
• Led financial stewardship for a $2.6M organization in alignment with strategic goals and annual operating objectives
• Drafted and monitored annual and project budgets for restricted funding and grants and guaranteed financial deliverables were met 
• Presented financial reports, plans, and projections to to keep the organization and its stakeholders informed on financial standing
• Worked with external auditors to compile the year-end audit and 990 tax return

HUMAN RESOURCES
• Developed and implemented the organization’s first paid parental leave policy as well as benefits for employee wellness, tuition assistance and student loan payoff, opportunities for professional development and tenured staff benefits
• Evaluated compensation and benefits practices to ensure competitive pay and internal equity 
• Led the recruitment, hiring, onboarding and offboarding processes for the organization
• Facilitated staff teambuilding, conflict management and aligned employee job duties to their strengths and interests
• Facilitated annual talent reviews and peer feedback for the Executive Team and their direct reports to identify areas for growth and create individual development plans to achieve those goals

RISK MANAGEMENT
• Maintained appropriate internal control measures across the organization
• Ensured the organization remained in compliance with all legal, governmental, regulatory, and contractual requirements
• Maintained accurate and secured filing system for all personnel files, accounting, regulatory and other official documentation
• Oversaw emergency procedures, including hurricane and disaster plans, COVID-19 pandemic response and safety measures

• Recruit a board of 10 well qualified young professionals to lead the Cathedral Arts Young Professionals Group, the CAPtivators. 
• Act as staff liaison and work with the CAPtivators Board to organize events and fundraisers, prepare budgets, recruit members, promote the organization and acquire funding (individual, group, and corporate) to meet annual financial goals.
• Support officers and other leaders of the CAPtivators to ensure they fulfill their responsibilities.
• Ensure the maintenance of the membership database and related entry in Cathedral Arts Donor Database.
• Support the work of maintaining and updating photo galleries, capkids.org and social media pages. 
• Attend CAPtivators Board Meetings, maintain all meeting records, and report progress on a regular basis to Cathedral Arts Project Executive Director


SPECIAL EVENTS
• Exceeded first year budget goals by 20% from special events resulting in the CAPtivators' ability to donate back to Cathedral Arts Project programs.
• Executed three annual kickball tournaments with approximately 150 attendees each year.
• Executed first annual 5k with approximately 140 attendees.
• Collaborate with Board, vendors and venues to ensure eight new and unique events per year to attract professionals between 21-45 in order to increase membership and meet (exceed) financial goals.

• Managed the company’s accounting system, including its chart of accounts and the allocation of all income and expenses, vendors and customers. 
• Maintained all accounts payable and receivable for two health club locations, one retail center, and four online storefronts.
• Oversaw systems of cash flow between all locations and online storefronts and structured financial systems and procedures to ensure the accuracy and security of all funds received and expensed.
• Processed twice-monthly payroll internally for 75 employees.
• Maintained a filing system for all accounting and human resource documentation.
• Prepared and filed taxes for all payroll, unemployment, and sales & use.
• Worked with outside CPAs to complete year end closing of books and file company taxes.
• Processed monthly billing for approximately 1,700 gym members.
