Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation Officer - Horizon Lab

Barcelona Supercomputing Center

In this role I lead the communication and dissemination strategy of various EU-funded projects (H2020, POCTEFA, Horizon Europe, etc.) within the CASE Department. This includes preparation of proposals and managing the communication and dissemination tasks of projects from start to finish, as well as training and coordinating the Department´s Dissemination Team. My achievements include:

-	Creating effective communication campaigns for women in science within the frame of European projects
-	Organising/co-organising dissemination events such as the annual HPC Fusion Workshops, the 47th Conference on Plasma Physics (700+ attendees), an upcoming Galileo Conference, and many more
-	Successfully representing our projects at various reviews

Communication and Dissemination Coordinator 

I this position I was introduced to the mechanics of doing dissemination and communication tasks within the framework of H2020 projects. My day-to-day tasks included:

-	Drafting and editing communication materials such as press releases, newsletters, infographics, news items, videos, etc.
-	Establishing close working relationships with work package leaders to identify engaging content to be published 
-	Planning, executing and promoting scientific events such as workshops, seminars and conferences (virtual and in-person)
-	Writing communication and dissemination plans and reports, as well as presenting them to project partners and European Commission reviewers
