•	Improved accuracy and timeliness of team’s delivery of international client reports on both quarterly and annual basis by implementing new collection, validation, and analyzing processes and tools.
•	Ensured proper cash flow and reserves by restructuring reinsurance documentation process and implementing more frequent updates / validations of policies to be reinsured for each country and client; performed in partnership with local insurers, sales, underwriting, and reinsurance.

Implemented governance and metrics for MN and MAXIS GBN. Collaborated with legal, finance, marketing, sales, operations, GEB Strategy, reinsurance, and IT before making recommendations for executive management’s review.
•	Provided a forum for face-to-face communication between clients and insurers, enabling better customer service and client understanding of local regulations by planning / executing international conferences attended by 100+ insurance providers, clients, and consultants that educated local insurance providers on best practices and global trends.
•	Created MN SharePoint site and communication plan to connect and inform all business partners. Assessed training needs of GEB associates and partners, developed materials and stored on newly created SharePoint site for easy access.

Learned the Americas business by obtaining, through a 3-year rotational program for high potentials, an in-depth view as to how each area contributes to the enterprise and honing leadership skills through formal executive training. Completed 4 one-year functional assignments within Retail Annuity Products (RAP) Group, by obtaining special permission to complete 2 simultaneously.
•	Identified opportunities within RAP for increased efficiency such as breaking down silos by coordinating better collaboration and communication among several RAP teams and developing tools / processes that optimized performance.
•	Preserved relationships with our customers, firms, and brokers despite their negative reactions to our monthly product changes by creating training presentations for the sales team as well as various pieces of external communication.

Senior Business Analyst

I am all about problem solving and helping people — basically, a professional “fixer” that will happily tackle any challenge from process optimization or business transformation to implementing governance or completely revamping strategic initiatives.

My love for problem-solving inspired my Mathematics & Computer Science majors, during which my competitive nature drove me to challenge classmates to arrive at not just *a* solution, but the most efficient solution. After 10 years in Financial Services, I spent a year living abroad, learning different cultures and embracing new perspectives. During that time, I co-founded a non-profit to affect & inspire positive change in each city I lived in. Working with refugees, disabled women, and young children emboldened my commitment to raise awareness of, funds for, and the morale of these vulnerable and marginalized communities. I returned to NY and am still delivering effective resolutions  — counseling ~15 people per week via Crisis Text Line, raising $10,000 per year for local charities via Women Dine for a Cause, spending ~10 hours per month mentoring my "Little Sister" with BBBS, and bringing governance and enhanced processes to the Women's Education Project's Board, Council, and Committees so we can continue to help women living on less than $2/day find meaningful careers of their own choosing. More recently, I've incorporated my passion for social impact into my career by encouraging both businesses and individuals to transform lives, enrich communities, and preserve the environment through the everyday act of gift-giving. 

As I continue to learn, grow, and seek better, more efficient, more productive, and more profitable ways of doing things, I am committed to applying my skills in ways that align with my values and passion for constant improvement — for the world and my community, as well as for myself and others (via mentoring, coaching, continuous personal and professional development, education, etc.).
