In 2013, I entered B2B sales, building my book of business by cold calling 📞. This is a full-cycle role. My first deal closed a month outside of training for a whopping 345.00! The days of 90-100 cold calls a day paid off 💵.

We had a bell 🔔 you would ring for new business orders. After that first ring, I set a goal not to ring it unless the start-up order exceeded 10k. It took me seven months to earn it with an order of 29k 💵.

Eventually, I was closing high 6-figure to low 7-figure deals 💰.  

August 4th, 2022, a meeting popped up on my calendar to connect. Once HR appeared on the screen, I racked my brain to try and piece together what I did that could cause this. I happened to get laid off 🤔.

As a father of two kids on a single income, I felt like a failure. I went downstairs and apologized to Megan because I felt like I let her down 😔.

I took the time to grieve and heal. I wanted to land in tech sales, but I had no experience or college degree backing me. 

I started to lurk 👀 on LinkedIn with my 217 connections in September of 2022. I began to hand out connection requests like Oprah handed out keys 🔑. That method didn't work. 

On October 7th, 2022, I made my first post. It didn't go well. Shortly after, I created a post about myself seeking employment 🆘, and I went from 3-4 interviews a week. To 10-15 per week 📈. Thanks to the community.  

A quick stint at Paycor opened doors to the Employee Benefits space and landed at Leavitt Group NW.

We have two kids. Titan, our son, was diagnosed as autistic, high-functioning, and non-verbal. He has proven experts wrong by how far he has come. I am so proud and admire your grit and determination. 

Our daughter Mine Mae was born six years after Titan. She is obsessed with her brother Titan and knows Jen Allen's voice because Winning The Challenger Sales was part of her bath time routine. 

Megan is my better half. She is strong, squats more than your boyfriend 🤣, and is a huge advocate for our children. 

I miss a heavy barbell but fell in love with golf on 12-7-2019 ⛳. I played my first round in the rain and shot a 132. Don't worry. I have gotten better and love it. I am Hawaiian but from the big island of California! 🤣🤣

Cascade Mountain Log Homes

I interacted with clients and the Cascade Mountain Log Homes build team to successfully design and build custom log-framed architecture as well as conventional frame construction. Developed impactful design options based on architectural style and function.  Responsible for sensible site layout, working drawing production, coordination with structural engineers and all other professionals and consultants in the design process, and procurement of all applicable permits.   Construction quality inspections, sales, and marketing including trade show attendance were common responsibilities.

Oversaw all residential log home design, new and remodel/addition.  Ground floor development of the design department including creation of all standards and procedures, details, drawing cells, etc.  Interacted with the construction team and homeowners to develop exciting homes that were also material-efficient and construction-friendly.

Design Services Manager

Specialized in residential plan design for production builders and overseas markets.  Helped develop the business plan, drawing production standards, custom title blocks and standard graphic elements (cells or blocks).  Managed up to five other CAD operators and was responsible for all marketing, sales, and client interaction.

I explore and document our apparent, collective Shift out of an egoic state of consciousness (based on separation) to that of a more expanded and essential one in spirit (based on connection).

I see the many global crises facing humanity as the birth pangs of this Shift from one paradigm to another.

We have the keys to successfully manage this transition and their implementation is a process known as conscious evolution. We are the first species to be able to consciously adapt in the most efficient and effective ways in order to ensure we continue to advance and to do so in a sustainable manner.

We are also quickly approaching the event horizon of the technological Singularity by which nearly every imaginable barrier or limitation may one day be transcended.

By the incredible possibilities afforded by emerging technology and our shift into a more functional state of consciousness (so we cease using our technology to kill each other or poison our planet and instead find harmony, alignment, and mutual purpose), humanity may indeed transcend all our dysfunction as well as every other obstruction in the way of reaching our highest potential.

We can create Utopia on Earth and we can travel and live among the stars. We will be the ascended species we always believed was "out there" and hoped would one day save us—only we are right here and we will save ourselves.

If all the evolution of the universe has led to us and we are now the conscious agents of evolution with direct control over our own outcomes, why should we choose any less than to realize our highest potential?

This, then, is my audacious vision:
“To see humanity ascend beyond all dysfunction and every limitation, in order to achieve its highest potential as a peaceful, harmonious, and functional species of the highest possible order.”
