Lyons Industries produces bathtubs, shower bases, and walls sold in home improvement stores. My main responsibilities were to develop proprietary business software and IT system administration.

•	Turn concepts into software, find solutions to contradictions, and just make things work. Everybody understands the obstacles they overcome every day at work. Speaking to everyone involved from the owner to the employees on the shop floor, I would form a clear model of the problems, goals, root causes, and constraints. My task was to solve the problems software could solve within the scope and budget defined.

•	Develop and deploy various scheduled task scripts and C# programs for automating business administrative workloads.

•	Develop custom software and analytical tools to manage production scheduling, shipping scheduling, raw material consumption, inventory tracking, labor projections, manufacturing costs, shipment sales values, scrap, and real time data collection. This is a basic MRP system integrated with production operations to give real time KPI analytics, alerts, and immediate "What if" analysis for agile responses to disruption and immediate communication. They wanted a proprietary system, optimized to fit an extreme version of Just In Time manufacturing, with maximum flexibility in planning and operations, so the intersection of customer satisfaction and profit may be met constantly.

•	Develop hardware integrations to automate processes.

•	Administer, deploy, and develop databases and ETL workflows across multiple SQL instances and Access DB files using SSIS.

•	Reimplement and redesign legacy apps, converting from VBA in Access and Excel to C#, SQL, and DevExpress.

•	Integrate data between Infor Syteline ERP system and custom software noted above. Scheduling and Operations were not implemented in the ERP system.

•	Perform IT system administrator functions to manage servers and workstations throughout the company.

SalesPad is a software development company specializing in adding value to existing ERP systems like Dynamics GP and QuickBooks. They develop desktop and web applications that use MSSQL server as a data store, and various .Net based proprietary ORM frameworks that usually involve Entity Framework (EF) as a base. For desktop frontend UI they rely on DevExpress, and for web UI they rely on multiple frameworks like JQuery, BreezeJS, Angular, and others. They also developed a cloud application using Azure for the backend.

•	Created and maintained continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for multiple products.
	•	Skills and tools used: Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, TFS, IIS, Powershell, and C# scripting.

•	Built the manual QA testing department, automated testing infrastructure, frameworks for automated testing web and desktop applications, automated UI tests, and unit tests. Test environments could be configured for any customer setup automatically.
