Since 2007 I have dedicated my career to creating a safe place for business executives to work on their businesses.

I represented the Association at state and national trade meetings and when meeting with legislators in Sacramento and Washington D.C.

I implemented PR and writing projects for the regional office of RE/MAX of California & Hawaii Inc.as an integral part of their advertising and marketing team.

I coordinated a variety of educational programs, recruited and trained volunteers to serve the City of Brea's Youth & Family Services Department. I revised and coordinated the City of Brea's Youth Volunteen Program. I successfully implemented the City of Brea's first Youth Employment Fair.

When I was six, my teacher told my mum I couldn't read.  Mum questioned me, and I explained that I read much faster than everyone else, so I was always skimming ahead of the class to read what came next. When it was my turn to read aloud, I never knew what page we were on!

By the time I was 12 years old, I had read all the books in the Children's Section of the local library. My mum requested an adult library card so I could access books from the adult section.   With an adult library card, a new world of words opened up for me.

I have always loved books, and I love words.  Words have power.

25 years ago, in 1998, I founded my business - 'Put It In Writing,' and found my true vocation. My words flowed everywhere: biographies, social media profiles,  magazines, and newspapers. Obituaries for people I'd never met, and even 'Mother-of-the-Bride' speeches, policies and procedures, bylaws, and more. 

In 2016, I took on an assignment that gave me and my words a new purpose. A client asked me to develop a curriculum for a Leadership Academy. Part of that curriculum included a module where I instructed the participants on writing their bios.   

In 2020, an international business group hired me to present my bio class to its members. They then asked me to develop a series to follow the successful and popular 'Bye, Bye, Boring Bio' class.

'The Write Stuff Lab' was founded amid a pandemic when communication could not have been more vital.
