🚨 Tax season scam alert

Your inbox is probably flooded with "your tax document is ready" emails right now.

Most of them are scams.

Here's how to protect yourself:

✔️ Hover over the sender name to see the actual email address. If it looks suspicious or unfamiliar, report and block immediately.
✔️ Don't click any links in these emails. Ever. Even if it looks legit.
✔️ Go directly to the source. Open a new browser tab, type in the website yourself, and log into your portal to get your documents.

Financial chaos is stressful enough without scammers trying to steal your information.

Helping heirs and executors find and get their inheritance

I find missing heirs and beneficiaries as well as inheritance assets.  

That is what I do.   

I’ve always enjoyed putting together the pieces of the puzzle.  As a kid, Encyclopedia Brown was my favorite book series.  Here was a boy my age playing private detective and solving mysteries in his neighborhood. 

Then came Indiana Jones. Ever since cinema’s greatest treasure hunter captured ten-year-old Michael Zwick’s imagination, I’ve long loved the idea of searching high and low and doing whatever it takes to find and bring home valuable items others hid somewhere or maybe even forgot about. 

Well, life set in and I followed the ordinary path of college and law school.  The intrigue of searching for treasure, though, never left me.  A few years into my legal career, I started Assets International as a side hustle to my law practice.

My team and I began finding money in government treasuries and then tracking down the owners or, in many cases, their heirs.  Soon thereafter, we applied our skills and knowledge to the probate arena, identifying and locating heirs and beneficiaries in probate and trust proceedings.  Once things got going, I found that I enjoyed the work so much that I closed my law practice.  We later added asset searches for estates to our offerings.

I get the fun and thrill everyday of uniting people with fortunes they never expected.  I also get the satisfaction of relieving executors and trustees of the stress that comes with those roles. They can sleep better at night knowing that the toughest parts of the job, finding and recovering the deceased’s assets and then distributing them properly, are in good hands.
