My ability to spot a good story is what landed me my first job in journalism. But it was my decade of profiling startups, small businesses, nonprofits and some of San Francisco’s most influential people that taught me how to tell one. 

A move into marketing and another decade dabbling in the creator economy—first with a food blog, then a motherhood magazine—taught me how to use those stories to build communities through content and collaborations.  

Now my mission is to help purpose-driven people and brands build loyal audiences who don't just want what you offer, but love what you stand for.  

Founders and business owners come to me when they need a strategic storyteller and networked creator.

I managed Mayo Clinic Platform's biannual Accelerate Program, serving as a point of contact for the 12 participating cohort companies. I developed and executed operational and technical onboarding, as well as maintained key metrics to ensure Program success and expansion.

I empowered 30+ genetic counselors by resolving issues for 3k+ patients and providers across various sectors of genetics, including cancer, reproductive health, cardiology, ophthalmology, and neurology. I researched, located, and abstracted information for clinical appointments as well as led team projects, monitored metrics, and developed reports. 

Key Accomplishments:   
• Launched a program for genetic counselors to acquire licensure across the United States, saving the company $200k+
• Expanded scope of genetic counseling services, increasing monthly appointments from 960 to 1.4k+

Operations Specialist

Fox Chase Cancer Center

I facilitated the data collection, analysis, and reporting functions for the Office of Clinical Research (OCR) for global Phase I clinical trials, including managing up to six clinical trials simultaneously. I extracted data from source documents to respond to data queries and scheduled visits for individual studies. 

Key Accomplishments: 
• Resolved 1k+ database errors in one week
• Trained new staff on navigation of sponsor database systems

Clinical Research Data Specialist

I ensured the department ran smoothly, patients were satisfied, and executives could focus on the matters that required their attention. This involved high-demand calendar management, patient and provider communication, and timecard verification.

Key Accomplishments:
• Delivered biannual conference logistics for two executives, including budget, conference registration, transportation, and hotel; processed finance reports and monitored compliance for annual certifications
• Expedited HR with talent acquisition, security clearance checks, new hire paperwork, onboarding, and training new staff members

Administrative Specialist

I supported four genetic counselors in all administrative needs, including fielding telephone calls, managing highly active calendars, coordinating meetings, and organizing documents.

Key Accomplishments:
• Increased patient volume by 10% by providing strong customer service support
• Orchestrated a highly confidential and sensitive database update; streamlined the procedure for informing patients of account changes
• Appointed deputy Clinical Operations Manager

Clinical Genetics Intake Coordinator

I spearheaded the scheduling and database management for 12 high-traffic departments, while delivering stellar customer service to patients and staying focused in a high-stress, ever-changing environment.

Key Accomplishments:
• Reduced prescription errors by 50% after crafting customized spreadsheets to track accuracy and accountability of prescriptions
• Mentored and trained new staff on scheduling system
