Ik ben naar de Hormozi workshops geweest, en dit was mijn top learning:

Werk maar aan 1 probleem.

Klinkt simpel.
Is het ook.
Business is heel simpel.

Je hebt altijd maar één bottleneck in je business.

Bij Acquisition praten ze dan over 'the constraint'.

Je business wordt altijd maar door één probleem geblokkeerd om te groeien.

Of hoe Hormozi het zelf zegt: "some shit stays fucked"

En dan start je altijd met 1 van 2 main contraints:

- Aanbod (kan je de vraag niet aan?)
- Vraag (heb je meer leads nodig?)

Je komt hierachter door een simpele vraag te stellen:

"Why can't we do more?"

En het antwoord daarop is de eerste pointer.

Denk maar eens na.

Waarom doe je nu niet 3x zo veel klanten?

- Omdat je meer leads nodig hebt
- Omdat je leads niet converteren
- Omdat je het zelf te druk hebt
- Omdat je mensen te druk zijn
- Omdat je ... {vul zelf in}

En dat wijst vervolgens naar de constraint. Bijvoorbeeld je business model, je marketing, je sales conversie, of nog een lijstje van 50 andere dingen.

En daarvan moet je er maar aan één tegelijk werken.

Weet je wat mijn primary constraint is?

Te weinig focus (ik bied te veel verschillende dingen aan)

En dat ga ik zo oplossen:

Minder aanbieden (ik ga 100% focussen op mijn AI adoptie programma)

Dus mocht je daar meer van zien, dan weet je waarom.

Een van de persoonlijke adviezen van team Hormozi was: "Doe veel meer content".

Dit is het idee:

Ik dacht dat ik wel goed bezig was.

Ik doe 5 tot 7 posts op LinkedIn per week.

Tot ik erachter kwam dat Hormozi zelf 450 stuks content per week distribueert.

En ik kreeg de tip om voor mijn situatie iig x3 te gaan.

3x per dag op LinkedIn.

7 dagen per week.

Dus ik dacht echt "hoe kan ik in hemelsnaam 3x zo veel content maken, zonder extra tijd, en met dezelfde óf hogere kwaliteit?". 

Dus mijn eerste idee was: Dat kan niet. Dit spel is niet voor mij😂

Maargoed, wat heb ik te verliezen?

En de grap is nu: als je een benchmark hebt, ga je in mogelijkheden denken. Dus dat is wat de laatste 2 weken in mijn hoofd aan het gebeuren is. Het kán namelijk wel. Het is niet fysiek onmogelijk om dit te doen. Is het makkelijk? Ook niet. Dus ik moet het goed organiseren. En ik moet wel echt wat dingen veranderen.

Zoals ik het nu zie zit de hefboom in 2 dingen:

- team
- slim content maken

Ik moet mensen vinden die me helpen om de juiste keuzes te maken.

En ik moet van meer content maken van wat ik al doe.

Ik ga bijvoorbeeld video doen.
Vind ik ook rete spannend.

Bij Hormozi is alles content.

Hij schrijft
Hij streamt
Hij doet workshops
Hij maakt een podcast
En hij repurposed alles in lengte, format, kanalen

Ik heb het nog nooit gedaan, maar ik denk dat ik het kan.

Dus ik ben heel benieuwd wat de komende tijd brengt. Krijg veel te horen dat ik het vooral niet moet doen, "blijf lekker bij jezelf". En ik ben ook wel een beetje bang en onzeker... Want ja, ambitieus, en wat als het niet lukt? Wat als al die mensen gelijk hebben?

Maargoed, ik doe het anyway.

Ik zat vanmorgen weer met een directie van een €100MIO bedrijf om de tafel: Niemand snapt AI Agents.

En dat is ook logisch. Alles is tegenwoordig een Agent.

Een Custom GPT noemt men een Agent.
Salesforce heeft Agents.
Copilot heeft Agents.

Zelfs de buurman begon dit weekend over Agents.

Maar toch blijft men vragen: "Reinier kan je nog eens uitleggen wat een Agent is?"

Komtie:

Een Agent is een digitale collega met een WIL (rol en instructie), om iets te DOEN (taak/taken), hij KAN dingen (tools) en hij WEET dingen (context), en hij mag dingen zelf BESLISSEN (autonomie), en hij DOET dingen (tool calls) via de computer, en mag dit herhalen tot het doel is bereikt.

Alles hierboven is schaalbaar met stroom, chips en internet, in plaats van mensen.

Bouw je 1x:

- Bedrijfscontext
- Instructies
- Doelen
- Tools

Dynamisch onderhoud:

- Leveranciers context
- Klanten context
- Proces context
- Autonomie (guardrails)
- Acties (governance)

Het schalen van bedrijven gaat om het bouwen van instructies, tools en doelen, en het schalen van context, autonomie en acties.

Langzaam gaat 'groeien' van je bedrijf over chips en elektriciteit, in plaats van over mensen.

Maar voor iedereen dat nog snickers en redbull nodig heeft (of matcha latte en rode biet), DM me. Tijd om jullie te leren Agents te besturen.

3 weken geleden begon ik 3x per dag te posten. Dit is mijn laatste post erover.

Mijn #1 les: je weet nooit wat gaat werken.

Mijn beste post schreef ik in 3 minuten. 

En waar ik het langst over nadenk (en afbeelding bij maak) doet het vaak als een natte krant.

Dit was opvallend:

Ik postte exact dezelfde post over ChatGPT opzeggen twee keer. 2x een giga succes, maar compleet verschillende mensen reageerden. 

Blijkbaar is niemand zo veel met mij bezig als ikzelf (schuin lachje haha)

Wat me nog meer opviel:

Meer posten betekent niet dat dezelfde mensen vaker iets van je zien. Het algoritme kiest gewoon andere mensen om aan te laten zien. 

Verschillende content raakt verschillende mensen. Dat wist ik in theorie, maar nu merk ik dat echt. Omdat mijn content nog niet consistent is.

En wat ik niet had verwacht: 

De comment sectie lijkt waardevoller. Mensen vinden elkaar. Ze reageren op elkaars comments, verbinden, starten gesprekken. Misschien was dit al zo, maar valt het me nu meer op. Het voelt als een plek waar men open staat om van elkaar te leren. En bij te dragen aan een gesprek.

Dus bij twijfel: post het. Het verrast je vaker dan je denkt.

Dit appje is van een ondernemer die ik respecteer. En het had van jou kunnen zijn.

Want ik krijg dit dagelijks.

Deze ondernemer is een early adopter. Hij automatiseert alles in zijn bedrijf én was dus ook al in 2022 bezig met ChatGPT/AI.

En ja, hij gebruikt ook meerdere AI chatbots.

De laatste weken gewoon even niet Claude

Dus ik liet hem gister in 10 minuten zien wat er nu kan met Claude code en cowork.

En vandaag heb ik al 27 appjes en 12 screenshots gekregen van dingen die hij heeft gebouwd.😎

We zitten echt, écht in een ander tijdperk.

Taken van uren kosten nog maar 10 minuten.

Je kennis van 3 maanden geleden is hopeloos verouderd.

Je frame moet veranderen.

Je moet een leider worden in het AI tijdperk. Zelf proberen. En een veilige plek voor je team om fouten te maken.

Want fouten maken moet.

Misschien kan je snel typen...

Maar je kunt nog sneller praten.

Dat is precies de reden dat ik Wispr Flow gebruik.

Wispr Flow is een programma-overstijgende tool waar je simpelweg dicteert. Hij vertaalt het in tekst, en zet het erin.

"ChatGPT heeft toch ook een dicteer knop?"

Ja, maar gmail, whatsapp, google, de website van de belastingdienst en je CRM misschien niet.

Voor de meeste mensen is overstappen naar spraak een 2,4x.

Over 3 jaar is het HEUL normaal om tegen je computer te praten. Dus waarom niet nu vast beginnen?

Als je niet werkt met de nieuwste features die in februari zijn gelanceerd werk je met outdated tools.

Hoe weet je dat je team achter loopt?

- Je bent nog gefocust op 'de beste prompts'
- Je laat anderen GPTs voor je bouwen
- Je leest je 'elke paar maanden' in

Je frame moet veranderen.

Om relevant te blijven moet je wekelijks inlezen.

Geen grap. Wekelijks is de norm.

Welke nieuwe dingen laten je nu 10x sneller werken?

- Agents in Excel, PowerPoint & Word
- Agents & subagents (agent zwermen)
- n8n workflows bouwen met Claude Code
- Computer use (agents die je computer gebruiken)

Dus wat moet je nu doen?

Ik ga komende tijd mensen aannemen, en nu moet ik een cultuur vormen. Maar hoe doe je zoiets?

In 2010 startte ik ooit bij Coolblue. 

En die cultuur heeft mijn visie op cultuur gevormd.

Daarna heb ik altijd gedrag en cultuur geprobeerd te observeren, in mijn eigen bedrijf. Ik heb ook altijd veel gelezen (boekenlijstje 'cultuur' in de comments).

De tip die ik van team Hormozi kreeg was om de cultuur te bouwen vanuit kernwaarden.

"Culture is what you tolerate"

Dus op basis van welke waarden wijs je dingen af?
Op basis van welke waarden complimenteer je gedrag?

Ik kan vanaf medewerker 1 een cultuur bouwen. Ik kan alles nog kiezen en vormen. Dat voelt heel bizar. Want nu gaat het 'bewust-bekwaam' (hoop ik).

Deze dingen ben ik aan het doen in dit proces:

- Mijn ±30 schriftjes teruglezen van de laatste 6 jaar
- The Culture Code (Dan Coyle) voor de 3e x lezen
- Praten met mensen die goed zijn met woorden
- 3000 Chat & fireflies gesprekken analyseren
- 1000 van mijn oude blogs teruglezen
- Tijd maken om rustig na te denken

Die laatste is misschien wel mijn grootste uitdaging.

Je cultuur is zo goed als de zwakste schakel. Die zet de standaard. Dus weten waar je op selecteert wie erbij hoort, dat is volgens mij eerste stap.

FYI: 84% of the world has never used AI.
I saw this stat and my first reaction was “no way.” My second reaction was…oh. Right. My social media bubble is not the planet.

I live in AI. I test tools at midnight. I keynote about this stuff for a living. And it’s so easy to forget how new this all is. 

If you’ve even opened ChatGPT once, you’re in the top 16% globally. If you’re paying for a subscription? Top 0.3%.

That’s not “behind.” That’s ahead of 6.8 billion people.

So the next time someone makes you feel late to the AI party - remember: most of the world doesn’t even know there IS a party.

If we can call it that. Which….lets not.

💀 Guys, don't worry - even though Ring employees watched women through their bedroom cameras, their NEW feature is just about puppies. 

Definitely just about puppies. Nothing to see here 🙈 

*(Narrator: It was not, in fact, NEVER just about puppies.)*

Fun fact: In 2023, the FTC proved Ring employees had unrestricted access to customer video, and one employee watched thousands of recordings from women's bedrooms for months. Hackers exploited garbage security to terrorize families - including children - through two-way audio. Ring paid $5.8 million. Was forced to delete AI models trained on footage they never had permission to use.

Founder Jamie Siminoff left. The company went quiet. Rebranded around cute porch moments.

Then Siminoff came back in 2025 and hit the gas:
👀  Community Requests: police can request your footage 
👀 Search Party: AI links neighborhood cameras to scan for lost dogs. ON by default (404 Media).
👀 Familiar Faces: a feature that identifies known individuals on a user’s own camera.
👀 Planned partnership with Flock Safety: AI license plate readers for thousands of police departments

THEN came the Super Bowl ad. Little girl loses dog. Cameras light up. AI finds Milo. "Be a hero in your neighborhood."

Spoiler: The internet was NOT charmed.

Senator Markey called it out. Black Mirror comparisons everywhere. Viral calls to destroy Ring devices. Four days later, Ring quietly canceled the Flock partnership.

But here's what matters most.

Today, 404 Media published a leaked internal email from Siminoff - sent to all employees back in October. The key phrase?

"First for finding dogs."

First. FIRST.

That word is doing ALL the heavy lifting. Because he went on to say this tech would become the foundation to "zero out crime in neighborhoods."

The dogs were never the destination. They were the ***door*** (this is the part nobody says out loud)

This is literally looks like strategic function creep by design. Get emotional buy-in for an irresistible use case - lost puppies - then expand scope after cameras are linked. Manufactured consent wrapped in a VERY expensive Super Bowl commercial.

Oh, and the feature is ON by default. Massive difference between "would you like to join a surveillance network?" and "you're already in one unless you find the setting." You think LinkedIn was bad? This feels....even worse.

Q: Am I overreacting? 

A: A company caught letting employees spy on women is now building a networked AI surveillance grid - launched with a puppy commercial. 

Overreacting isn't the problem here.

At what point does a company lose the right to ask for trust? And what does it mean that the answer is apparently "never - if you lead with puppies"?

If this doesn't sit right, you're paying attention. 

What's your gut say? Mine is having none of this.

👀 ICYMI: Turns out the fastest way to study how people feel about AI is to post something messy in public and let hundreds (and hundreds) of strangers tell you all the reasons you SUCK.

Which is exactly what happened last week 🥸 

I shared a graphic from X about global AI adoption. No formal citation. Imperfect language. And the internet did what the internet does.

Because clearly I was shilling for ChatGPT, using data from X  (which is automatically flawed) WHILE ALSO "giving" cult vibes, techno-elitism, colonialism, teaching a masterclass in "How to Lie with Statistics." 

Dear reader, I was posting before caffeine. 

BUT while everyone was busy shredding me, something interesting happened. Data creation.

Literally hundreds of people accidentally running the most honest focus group on AI perception I've ever seen IN REAL TIME. That messy LinkedIn post generated more raw, unfiltered insight into how people actually feel about AI than anything formal ever could. Who knew?

THIS is why I don't limit my learning to just peer-reviewed papers and pristine citations. Because apparently, some of the most valuable insights come from the comments section of a scandeous post everyone hated. Not my intention, obviously, but learning in public is messy, right?

So yeah, I'm not deleting it. I'm studying it. I'm reading everything. I'm taking notes. 

And if this post ends up in the same place...I mean, at least I'll have double the data 🤷‍♀️

Predictive AI can now forecast when your parents' health might decline. But should it? And if so, on whose terms?

When Forbes asked me about this, honestly, I could have talked for hours. 🫠

Here's the thing. This tech is coming. And before it shows up in your family's life during a really stressful time, we need to be asking some uncomfortable questions. Like:

When a loved one's health is declining, who decides what "decline" even means? And whose definition is the algorithm using?

Who sees the prediction - and with what context attached? Can you, as a daughter, make sense of the prediction that notifies you at 11 pm?

What happens when you introduce information into a family that potentially changes the relationship? Because you can't 'unknow' what they know?

Whose labour is the model quietly assuming when it predicts more care is needed?

Who's evaluating these tools - because right now, often the referee works for one of the teams.

NGL, I don't have clean answers. I think this tech can genuinely help families AND cause harm at the same time. And that's exactly what makes it so hard.

But we need to be having this conversation now - not after it's already making predictions about your mom.

💀 Real talk: online learning discussion boards make me want to stab myself in the eye. Repeatedly. 🔪 🔪🔪👁️👁️👁️ 

FR, they might be the most joyless format in education. Especially lately.  Mostly because the AI-generated post loop of "I found this reading interesting because…", the same post, 30 times, suspiciously similar, and surface-level roughly translates to: no one found it interesting except ChatGPT 💀 

So imagine my ***actual delight*** opening two new online courses this week that just…mixed it up. Sprinkled a little freshness magic on top. 

One: read these papers, then post three close-ended questions where the answer is findable in the text, not "what did you think," but "what specific argument does the author make about this?" Then respond to other peer-generated questions. Basically, a peer-created study guide.

Two: a shared Miro board where everyone reads and annotates the same readings together. The professor has annotated the readings to get us started and show us what we should be thinking about, with questions embedded right in the readings. We add and respond TOGETHER, looking at the exact same document. Reading becomes a conversation, not a lonely checkbox.

No new platform. No AI detection tool. They just designed interactions where shallow engagement is (not impossible) but harder. Friction.  More engaging.          

My professors at The University of Edinburgh are teaching us about the future of learning AND adapting and modeling it in real time. I notice. I appreciate it.

☝ I get asked "what does AI ethics even mean?" at least once a week. And, fair question, tbh. Most definitions are either too vague, too complex, or too academic to be useful for regular people.                      
                             
Here's the simplest way I've found to make sense of the layers. 

Starting with basic ETHICS:

Philosopher David Danks says ethics is just two questions:
1. What should we value?
2. Given what we value, how should we act?

💡 AI ETHICS is those same two questions, pointed at how we build and use technology. For people like me who work in AI Ethics, we tend to focus on three layers from researcher Virginia Dignum:

👉 Ethics BY design = the AI system itself has guardrails built in. Lines it won't cross.
👉 Ethics IN design = ethical thinking is part of the process of building AI, not an afterthought. Basically, the people building it ask, "Should we?" not just "Can we?"
 👉 Ethics FOR design(ers) = the people making the decisions have real standards, training, and accountability (someone is actually responsible when it goes wrong)

BUT here's what I think about a lot:

Those three layers are about the people building AI. 

Most of us aren't building it. We're just...using it. 

And there's no framework for that yet. No guardrails. No training. No standard.

Which means for the rest of us, it comes back to Danks' two questions and our own honesty.

So tough question: What do you value? And be honest. Is how you're using AI right now actually matching that?

🤫  FYI: Kasparov's genius wasn't chess. It was intimidation. And in 1997, he sat across from something that couldn't be intimidated. And it got....weird.

Because Kasparov was known for reading opponents. Getting inside their heads. So when he sat down against Deep Blue and got… nothing? No fear. No flinch. No signal. It broke the circuit he had relied on for so long.  

So (hear me out), what if he didn't lose because the machine was smarter, but because he was emotionally underwhelmed (I have academic receipts, stay with me here). 

Let's talk about why this distinction matters.

Emotion doesn't live inside a person. It flows BETWEEN people, like a current. You send energy out, you read what comes back, and that exchange shapes how you think, decide, and respond. 

Emotion isn't separate from intelligence. It's literally how intelligence works.

And now we live and work with AI systems that ACT like they have emotion...but don't. You put energy in. It responds. But nothing actually comes back. It gives you warmth. Just not the kind that flows back and feels satisfying.

That's why it feels off. You're trying to complete an emotional circuit with something missing on the other end.

Emotionally underwhelmed. Now you have language for it. 🫠

👀 (Wild detail: Kasparov contractually required a human to sit across from him during moves. He literally needed a body there to think - even if the body served no actual purpose.)

🤯 A lot can happen in a year, FYI. But the REAL question is...

How long until domestic robots hit the shelf, and will you buy one? Because I'm pretty sure an acrobatic robot can unload my dishwasher...but do I want it to?
