Head of Product for the live retail online banking platform. Accountable for prioritisation and management of global demand. 

 
Created the product strategy around three key pillars of regulatory compliance, customer advocacy and commercial outcomes, with accountability for roadmaps across 14 different countries

Product managed the Barclays mobile Pingit retail customer team, overseeing all
product activities for an app release plan that targeted 10 new versions a year. Core
success: Delivering ‘Buyit’, the main corporate banking feature in the app at the time,
now used in partnership with Camelot for the UK National Lottery.
 Facilitated the backlog creation and prioritisation for features that affected a multitude
of user types, including retail, business and corporate customers
 Managed user stories and their acceptance criteria
 Managed the briefing of requirements to the 3rd party design agency and oversaw the
maturity of wireframes, flows and prototypes
 Defined all operational processes that supported a release, produced and gained
regulatory sign-off to all operational design documentation
 Facilitated and gained governance sign-off to ensure full feature compliance
 Produced and gained sign-off of all training and communications required to support a
release

Lloyds Banking Group

Lead BA in the mobile IT team, overseeing a team of 6 BAs while working on a number of projects across the four Lloyds Banking Group brands, for both their mobile browser and native app offerings

• Managed the weekly mobile demand forum, sizing new change requests in the mobile channel and deciding which changes represented strategic significance and therefore warranted full impact assessment
• Forecasted team members’ capacity and allocated projects to BA resource
• Introduced weekly status reporting for the mobile change delivery team and managed corresponding update calls with senior management
• Managed the requirements, design and build of a number of change requests, heavily influencing their user experience direction
• Helped to implement agile development processes and the first application of RTC within the bank

Senior BA working on a variety of projects across Barclays’ mobile, online and propositions & development teams

• Shaped a mobile business analyst role within the Barclays Pingit project, increasing development efficiency; delivered high-visibility features such as image payments, a bespoke business directory and in app top-up functionality
• Improved difficult working relationships by acting as the conduit between app development teams and the rest of the business
• Mobilised the Barclays Cloud It project, gathering high-level requirements from multiple areas of the business, interviewing senior executives and business-area owners and overseeing conceptual wire-framing, use case modelling and process mapping
• Managed a wide variety of small changes to the online and mobile browser platforms, swiftly becoming an online banking subject-matter expert
