Gavin Newsom ist in Davos aus der diplomatischen Höflichkeitszone ausgebrochen wie ein Teenager aus dem Elternhaus.
Sein Bild für Europas Umgang mit Donald Trump, Knieschoner.
Weil wir so tief kriechen.
Und sein Befund, mit Trump gibt es keine Diplomatie, denn er sei ein T Rex. Entweder du paarst dich mit ihm, oder er frisst dich.

Das klingt nach amerikanischer Übertreibung.
Ist es aber nur im Ton, nicht in der Logik.
Denn egal, was du von Trump hältst, die Mechanik dahinter ist global. Regeln sind nur so stabil wie die Macht, die sie schützt.
Moral hilft dir nicht, wenn die andere Seite nur Macht und Konsequenzen versteht.

Wenn du im Mittelstand Verantwortung trägst, kennst du diese Szene.
Du sitzt im Jour fixe, jemand sagt, wir warten mal ab, das normalisiert sich. Es ist der Satz, der nach Beruhigung klingt und nach Selbstberuhigung riecht.
So entsteht Zombie Strategie.
Wir bewegen uns, aber wir entscheiden nicht.

Ein Jahr nach Trumps Rückkehr ist genau das der Preis.
Zölle, Drohkulissen, Planungsnebel.
Wer davon abhängig ist, dass andere vernünftig werden, liefert sein Ergebnis an deren Laune aus.
Der T-Rex diskutiert nicht.
Er testet, ob du weich bist.

Was du jetzt tun kannst, ohne in Alarmismus zu kippen

1️⃣ Radikale Realitätsprüfung
Nicht empören, rechnen.
Nimm dein US Exposure auseinander wie ein Motor.
Welche Produkte, welche Kunden, welche Margen, welche Lieferkette. Dann simuliere den hässlichen Fall.
25 Prozent Zoll, längere Prüfungen, politisch motivierte Verzögerung.
Wenn es dann nicht trägt, ist das kein Pech.
Es ist ein Designfehler.

2️⃣ Autonomie bauen
Goodwill ist schön, Abhängigkeit ist teuer.
Schaffe alternative Absatzpfade, selbst wenn sie anfangs kleiner sind. Indien, Südostasien, Nahost, auch Europa intern.
Nicht weil das romantisch klingt, sondern weil du damit Verhandlungsmacht zurückkaufst.
Ein Kunde ist Umsatz, zwei Kunden sind Freiheit.

3️⃣ Geschwindigkeit vor Konsens
Du musst nicht rücksichtslos werden.
Du musst nur schneller werden.
Halbier deine Entscheidungszeiten.
Lege fest, welche Entscheidungen du heute mit 70 Prozent Information triffst und welche du erst bei 95 Prozent triffst.
Fehler kannst du korrigieren, Trägheit nicht.

Haltung ist in diesem Spiel kein LinkedIn Buzzword.
Haltung ist (d)ein Betriebssystem.
Du stellst dein Unternehmen so auf, dass du niemandem um Erlaubnis bitten musst, um handlungsfähig zu bleiben.

Der T-Rex ist im Raum.
Du musst ihn nicht füttern, aber vor ihm auch nicht auf die Knie gehen.

Der König der Selbstinszinierung ist zurück

Leitmotiv der Rede Grönland als Sicherheitsprojekt und Eigentumsforderung

Trump machte Grönland zum strategischen Kernpunkt. Er begründete das mit nationaler Sicherheit. Er stellte Grönland als Teil der nordamerikanischen Sphäre dar und argumentierte, nur die USA könnten es zuverlässig schützen. Gleichzeitig wiederholte er die Forderung, Grönland solle amerikanisches Eigentum werden, ein Pachtmodell sei aus seiner Sicht nicht akzeptabel.

Wichtig war seine doppelte Botschaft. Er deutete an, dass die USA theoretisch mit überwältigender Stärke Fakten schaffen könnten, erklärte dann aber ausdrücklich, dass er keine Gewalt einsetzen werde.

2. NATO und Europa Druckaufbau mit Dankbarkeitstest

Er verknüpfte Grönland und Ukraine Unterstützung mit einer Grundkritik an der NATO. Die Allianz habe die USA unfair behandelt, ohne Amerika drohe Eskalation bis hin zu einem Weltkrieg, und die europäischen Partner hätten zu lange zu wenig gezahlt. Zugleich inszenierte er sich als derjenige, der höhere Beiträge der anderen durchgesetzt habe.

3. Ukraine Krieg Deal Logik statt Werteargument

Zum Ukraine Krieg zeichnete er ein Bild als Blutbad und drängte auf einen Deal zwischen Putin und Selenskyj. Er erwähnte seinen Sondergesandten und stellte den Konflikt als lösbar dar, wenn beide Seiten sich einigen wollten. In der Q und A Phase wertete er eine Nicht Einigung als Dummheit ab.

4. Wirtschaft Erzählung Amerika First mit Zöllen Wachstum Energie und AI

Der wirtschaftliche Teil war eine Erfolgsbilanz seiner eigenen Politik. Trump behauptete außergewöhnliches Wachstum, Investitionszuflüsse und eine Reindustrialisierung. Zölle stellte er als Korrektur eines Systems dar, in dem andere Länder die USA ausgenutzt hätten, explizit nannte er auch die Schweiz.

Er setzte auf eine Wachstumsthese zur Entlastung der Staatsverschuldung, konkret zur Senkung der Schuldenquote. Mehr Wachstum, mehr Zolleinnahmen, harte Ausgabenkürzungen und das Ende von Verschwendung sollen Defizit und Schulden senken.
AI und der Ausbau großer Rechenzentren präsentierte er als Wachstumstreiber, verbunden mit einer energiepolitischen Linie inklusive mehr Energieproduktion und neuen Genehmigungen im Nuklearbereich.

5. Innenpolitik: Migration, Kriminalität, Drogen & Fed Angriff

Er lobte Grenzsicherung, sinkende Kriminalität und eine angeblich umgekehrte Migration, bei der Kriminelle das Land verlassen hätten. Beim Kampf gegen Drogen verwies er auf maritime und künftig stärkere landseitige Maßnahmen.

Monetärpolitisch griff er den Fed Chef Jerome Powell an und kündigte an, bald einen neuen Fed Präsidenten zu nominieren. Parallel positionierte er die USA als künftige Kryptohauptstadt.

6. Ton und Dramaturgie

Die Rede sprang stark zwischen Themen und blieb in weiten Teilen eine Selbstinszenierung. Europa bekam eine klare politische Kritik ab, vor allem bei Migration und Energiepolitik, inklusive scharfer Angriffe auf Windenergie.
