Key Achievements: 

-	Proactively proposed the Architecture and Lead team of Engineers and Devops to Fine tune Elastic Search cluster and API Application to Save Cost, improve its performance and downtime. Primary intuition was to follow Lambda Architecture.
There is 60% reduction in YoY cost with 10x improvement in performance and uptime.

-	Designed and developed data pipelines for Walmart e-Comm Search Query Metrics on GCP using Dataproc as on demand Hadoop cluster, Cloud Storage as HDFS file system, and Airflow as scheduler along with Python and Hive. This data pipeline is responsible for processing and maintaining about 7TB of data each day.  

-	Leading end to end ongoing effort on Defining, Identifying and Comparing Trending/Spiking search queries on Walmart eCommerce so that business opportunities from these sudden spikes or trends could be addressed. 

Learned Art of building Robust Data Platform processing several TB's of data spread across multiple regions, accessed by Analyst's using variety of Analytics tools, using 100's of independent workflows developed by several Engineers and Data Scientists which still could be Maintainable, Traceable and Fault tolerant.

-	Implemented many algorithms for searching.
-	Learned about various e-Standards specifications.
-	Learned about Lean and Agile principles.

	Challenges:
-	Being worked in Sustenance team for so long, it was initially difficult to adapt to a Product team mind set
-	Working on multiple projects was another challenge.

-	Increased the code coverage for various products under WebMethods Adapters and e-Standards umbrella.

	Learning:
-	As a member of sustenance team, I was privileged to work with almost every product in the WebMethods product suite, which helped me in understanding the actual customer scenarios.
-	Hands on experience with several operation systems like AS/400, Solaris, HP-UX, Linux and various flavors of Windows. Also got to work with numerous databases including DB/400, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server.
-	Explored debugging of multithreaded systems.

	Challenges:
-	Replicating customer's complex environment and finding the root cause of the issue, where multiple products were involved.
-	Strict project schedules.
-	Discussions with multiple product teams spread across various geographical locations.
-	Working with complex platforms and Databases like AS/400 and DB/400 with almost no assistance.

-	Proposed and developed the idea of automated fix installer.
-	Fixed some critical performance issues with the proper use of suitable algorithms

Being the junior most member of a QA team, my role was to do exploratory testing and find as many issues as possible. I was equipped with an RDD (Requirement Definition Document) and a set of documents explaining the terms related to finance domain.

	Learning:
-	Acquired extensive knowledge about the QA process, Issue Life Cycle, Testing concepts and manual testing.
-	Got acquainted with crisp clear test case writing skills and Issue reporting.

	Achievement:
-	I was made the front runner of the project by my team in order to take onus of some of the significant modules related to the product in a short span of time.
-	I reported and fixed more than 800 issues in a span of 10 months.
