No matter your role or rank, at some point someone will talk down to you under the disguise of “feedback.”

The other day, I received an email from a stranger who follows my content.

He said:
“Rachel, I’m a lead engineer. I manage a large team and take pride in mentoring younger staff. But last week, a new executive came into a meeting, interrupted me repeatedly, dismissed my ideas, and said, ‘I hope you’re not this sensitive in the field.’

I left the room questioning everything… until I realized something importanthe wasn’t offering criticism. He was masking disrespect in the name of ‘culture fit’.”

He ended his message with a question:
“How do you deal with that without letting it dim your light?”

Here’s what I told him:

Stay open to growth. Learn from others.
But never let someone confuse you into believing that disrespect is a requirement for improvement.

Keep building your network of like minded people on LinkedIn. This builds a backup plan and access to people who will be constructive for your career.

You protect yourself when you take care of yourself in these simple ways: 
☑️ 1. Separate your worth from the role

A job title or a difficult person does not define your intelligence, value, or future.

You are more than your work or a relationship. You have passion and dreams that fulfill your life beyond one role. 💡Take time to remember what you want and what you can do to experience what you want.


☑️ 2. Limit emotional access

Not everyone deserves full access to your thoughts, 
stress, or 
reactions. 

You're allowed to be polite without being emotionally available.


☑️ 3. Ground yourself daily (even if it’s just a few minutes a day)

A short walk, 
deep breathing, 
prayer, 
journaling, 
or silence 

resets your nervous system. 


☑️ 4. Listen to the early signals

Exhaustion, 
dread, 
irritability, 
and loss of joy 
are indicators 

trying to inform you of what is not working. 

Address them early instead of pushing through.

I like to follow these signals with this question:

What can I do to turn this around and experience what I truly want?


☑️ 5. Create clear schedule with stop times

Decide and schedule when work or certain conversations end for the day and honor your schedule. 

Energy leaks when everything is always "on."

I learned this lesson early in my career. Getting back on schedule helps me tremendously and has led to growth and success in areas I could not have imagined years ago.

Having peace of mind is possible. You deserve to have your mental health and to feel good today. I hope you never compromise yourself for any job or person and take care of yourself today.

Here’s what weighs people down in their careers or business, and what to do about it:

1. Fear of what others will think

Solution: 

Define your own version of success. Let results validate your path.

2. Overcommitment

Solution: 

Learn the power of “no.” Protect your time like your future depends on it—because it does.

3. Toxic clients or colleagues

Solution: 

Set boundaries. Let go of energy-draining relationships that don’t align with your values or growth.

4. Outdated skills or strategies

Solution: 

Stay curious. Invest in learning something new every quarter. Adaptability is your edge.

5. Perfectionism

Solution: 

Ship it anyway. Done is better than perfect and momentum beats procrastination every time.

6. Comparison

Solution: Focus on your lane. What you see online is a highlight reel, not the whole race.

7. Self-doubt

Solution: 

Track your wins, however small. Confidence builds when you take action. And you don’t need to be 100% sure before taking action.

To solve many issues you  don’t need a lot.

Somerimes you don’t need to add more to succeed. 

You might just need to release the wrong things.

If you want to fly, let go of everything that weighs you down.

You will feel lighter and you will be able to take yourself towards higher goals.

When everything feels empty, it isn’t the end of meaning. It is the beginning of remembering who you are.

Have you ever met someone who seems to know everything? Someone who has a strong opinion on every person, every situation, even world politics, and is 100% sure they’re the smartest person in the room?

Socrates said: “I know that I know nothing.” The people who are most confident about knowing it all are usually the least knowledgeable. True wisdom comes from understanding the limits of your knowledge.

Whenever you interact with these people, try to find out the source of their opinions, what led them to believe what they believe. It helps you see whether they’re actually informed or just full of ego.

Please know the difference between being knowledgeable and being wise. Those who truly know tend to keep the conversation focused on facts, not on bragging about themselves.

When you run into someone who only talks about themselves and tries to dominate the conversation, keep it short. Don’t get pulled into debates, they’ll make you feel like you know nothing. And if possible, avoid them altogether.

The human mind has three levels:

3D is Conscious Mind:
Where we experience life through our five senses.

4D is Subconscious Mind:
Formed by early beliefs from family and society. It's the bridge between the conscious mind and…

5D is Quantum Field:
The realm of all possibilities, energy, frequencies, God, source, whatever you call it. These possibilities exist as waves, unseen but real, like vapor from heated water.

To manifest a dream from 5D into 3D, you must densify it, turn energy into form. That begins with your core beliefs in the subconscious.
If you consciously want money but subconsciously feel unworthy, you're repelling it.

Want to know your core beliefs? Look at your current life, your finances, relationships, health.
To shift your reality:

I visualized my dream 20 years ago and made it real.

Right now, we are witnessing a rare alignment of three significant events: a Solar Eclipse, the beginning of Ramadan, and the upcoming Chinese Year of the Fire Horse.

Each of these events comes from very different traditions, yet they coincide today to mark both an ending and the beginning of a new era. Some cycles must end, some energies must be purified, and new momentum is ready to begin.

A Solar Eclipse represents interruption. As the Sun’s light temporarily dims, it becomes clear that even the brightest and most powerful can lose their shine.
The Year of the Fire Horse represents acceleration. In Chinese metaphysics, Fire Horse cycles are known for movement, bold decisions, leadership shifts, and the rapid unfolding of events that were previously stuck.

Now consider what it means when all three overlap in the same window of time. The universal energies are shifting significantly, and we are called to adapt. Some cycles must end, learn to let go of your past.

Embrace new beginnings. Stay connected to your Divine guidance. Align your energy with the currents of change, and step forward with clarity and purpose.
