● Gas Stations: Fast-tracked design build project. Design and construction of a building with retails, lube bays, car washings, external work including landscaping, installation of steel structural canopy, pumps, underground tanks, isolation walls and separation champers.

Resident Civil Engineer – Project Manager (Civil)

•	Conferred and collaborated with clients and stakeholders to determine project delivery strategy and priorities,

•	Forecasted expenses and costs. Monitored and controlled construction work schedules and costs against baseline schedules, estimates, and budgets,
•	Managed, monitored and controlled Health & Safety (HSE), Hazmat, site staging and cleanliness. Validated and enforced compliance with the policies, protocols, safety management plans, and regulations. Reported non-compliance/non-conformance and ensured appropriate actions are taken in a timely manner,
•	Tracked, monitored, controlled, and expedited the process of submittals and transmittals to ensure that they were submitted, reviewed and returned within the specified contractual requirements,
•	Chaired planning, constructability reviews, pre-construction and construction meetings, kick-off, pre-start, progress and performance reviews, coordination, technical, safety, and quality meetings,
•	Planned and coordinated subcontractor’s resources and site teams,
•	Implemented, optimized, M&C QA/QC programs and processes,

Construction Site Engineer - Project Coordinator

As a civil structural and construction engineer, I launched my career working on construction sites to deliver critical vertical and horizontal buildings, facilities, linear infrastructure, and various assets for different clients and stakeholders in the AEC - Architectural, Engineering and Construction industry.

These projects were very different in their nature, degree of complexity, specialization, constraints, designs, implementation, and site operations on different levels.

This strong start of my career and professional practice equipped me with hands on extensive technical skills, experience and exposure to different areas and domains in engineering and construction on the macro and micro levels, and learning the real-world detailed delivery process, constraints, and the associated risks of various construction projects in the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

Throughout this journey, I worked with different stakeholders, and some of the best teams and SMEs throughout the delivery process of complex engineering and construction projects.

● Lagoon Resort and Hotel Expansion: Construction of a five star resort with luxurious suites, restaurants, entertainment facilities, tennis courts, water games, 100,000 m3 lagoon, etc.

● GRE Trail Brine Piping for The Bromine Plant: Fast-tracked project including the installation of GRE pipe (32 in dia.) (4km in length), concrete foundations and supports to improve the plant daily production.

● Harvester No. 11: Fast-tracked project including fabrication and construction of steel structure vessels, equipment and instrumentation works, and MEP systems. Vessels float in the dam, and connected to a floating pipe and separation station.

Sam is construction management and projects delivery professional with over a decade of cross-continent and cross-global hands-on extensive commercial management experience, technical expertise, and advanced leadership capabilities. 

Leading and integrating multidisciplinary cross-functional and cross-cultural teams in the construction space, orchestrating the delivery process of construction projects alongside diverse teams of construction experts for the purpose of delivering enhanced communities structures and infrastructures construction projects successfully in complex technical environments.

His experience in the construction space spans over the delivery process of mission-critical and global award-winning complex mega/giga projects. It covers the AEC- Architecture, Engineering, and Construction domain in North America and MENA/GCC regions, with experience across Canada, Saudi, Dubai-UAE, and Jordan.

Sam has significant contributions deploying his extensive expertise and experience, and positivity driving the delivery process of some of the largest and most complex projects in Canada and the GCC/MENA region; Bvlgari Hotel and Residences, Atlantis The Palm, Arabian Ranches, Sidra, Maple, Dubai Hills, etc., carrying unique commercial, contractual and technical perspectives to the management and decision-making processes, providing deep unique value, broad experience and skills to every team.
