As you know, a vital part of my wellbeing journey has involved constantly challenging myself to be better

A unique pillar of this programme is it’s emphasis on ethical leadership

Today we learnt of the journey of the Nishkam Centre, the leaders of which have adopted the servant leadership model

One which inspires others through service

We need more ethical leaders 

And it is my vision that we will only create a better, fairer and more equal society when the people at the top also adopt this model

Resilience cannot be taught, it must be built through experience

That means going through trials and tribulations, without becoming bitter

But becoming BETTER

For most of my life, I lived in the comfort-zone

A bubble of safety, and a comfort blanket of mediocrity

My stagnation was self-inflicted

I never dared to believe

I never dared to dream BIG

Until one day, I had no choice

The fear of growing old, unaccomplished and downtrodden, woke me up

In the pit of despair, something new was born

An idea, a movement, a spark!

That spark was small, but the intention was big

First, to lift myself from the depths of rock-bottom

Secondly, to rid my life of vice

Thirdly, to bring meaning to an otherwise dull existence

And finally, to create something powerful, momentous, and magnetic

We forget something...

A core part of our purpose here in life

Is to become creators...

We are creators, we are born with this gift, but we forget who we are

We have the ability to create magic moments, sophisticated machinery, majestic art and massive infrastructure

We can create rhythmic poetry, and colourful prose, and fantastic ideas

When we limit our creative potential, we stifle our flow in life, we lower our harmony with life, and we become sullen

So be bold, be brave, be creative, and uplift others through your creative colouring in the colour-book of life! 🙌😊
