At this Level II Fieldwork position, I was responsible for providing direct patient care with a caseload of patients, documenting their treatment, collaborating inter-professionally with physical therapists, nurses, and aides, and communicating effectively with patients and their families.

At this Level I Fieldwork, I learned from an occupational therapist about many different diagnoses and challenges that clients can have with their hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.  I was responsible for setting each client up with various modalities as needed, such as hot packs, cold packs, fluidotherapy, and paraffin.  I observed many sessions of ultrasound, e-stimulation, and manual massage from my OT supervisor.
