I started Because of Marketing from my bedroom in July 2020 because I was obsessed with understanding how marketing captures our attention.

Five years later, that curiosity has grown into a global marketing media publication with a community and following of over 750,000 and 60 million organic impressions annually across the US, UK and Australia.

As I build Because of Marketing, I share my story, break down the marketing campaigns that catch my attention, and discuss the latest marketing news and trends. 

Outside of business, I'm a proud advocate for the Lewy Body Society and Alzheimer Scotland, having raised over £17,000 in the past 10 years to support their vital work.

CEO & Founder

Horace Mann

I coordinated daily operational tasks and provided administrative support to ensure smooth business operations. My role involved assisting in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures, monitoring and analyzing operational data to identify and resolve issues, and ensuring compliance with company standards. I acted as a liaison between various departments, facilitating communication and workflow, and managed and maintained records, reports, and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.

I developed a buyer persona for the company, providing a deeper understanding of the target audience. I conducted social media audits and leveraged the insights to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the company's social strategy. Utilizing SEO techniques, including keyword research, I enhanced the online visibility of the brand. Additionally, I implemented strategies to improve the customer journey and increase conversion rates, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company's marketing efforts.

As an Enrollment Coordinator,I am managing the pre-enrollment and patient enrollment activities, such as evaluating and maintaining information about patients’ personal background, while updating internal systems to ensure smooth and seamless flow of internal operations.

I have developed and executed multiple, interactive advertising campaigns and marketing strategies to increase buyer interest in offered products or services. I also administered a team of highly skilled staff members in collecting, classifying, and evaluating large datasets, while converting insights into well-structured reports for senior leadership teams for strategic decision making. 
- Developed a successful digital marketing campaign with overall accountability for managing runsheets and artwork

I have collaborated with clients for advertisement artwork for weekly run sheets to persuade consumers and convey a clear message. 
- Receive pd fast-track promotion to advertising management position within one year of joining
- Streamlined and simplified all of the advertising operations, such as analyzing insertion orders and revising terms for running advertisements on print and electronic media

With a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies, I leverage my educational background to foster a highly organized and collaborative environment, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with our high standards.

My core competencies lie in social media management and crafting effective marketing campaigns, honed through internships that propelled brand visibility and engagement. At The Grad Soc and Girls in Marketing, I applied my skills in SEO and data analytics to elevate our digital presence, demonstrating a commitment to driving growth and fostering meaningful connections with our audience.
