Uber

Led team responsible for managing the Rides business in AL, AR, FL, KS, KY, LA, MO, MS, OK, and TX. Increased regional profitability by developing new product offerings and strategies to accelerate top line growth (premium products, add-ons, pricing strategies), while continuously identifying cost reduction opportunities and acting to address them.

Senior Manager, Head of Gulf Coast Rides

Designed, built, and launched Uber's driver loyalty program, Uber Pro, improving retention and platform efficiency via effective segmentation and meaningful rewards, including free college tuition programs. Designed and executed additional programs to develop deeper relationships with key driver segments and solicit impactful product and program feedback from drivers.

Manager, Driver Loyalty & Relationship

Designed, managed, and executed Uber’s internal process to bring to life a "180 Days of Change" campaign, delivering 38 new driver-facing features and improvements including in-app tipping, paid wait time, and 24/7 phone support.

US & Canada Product Operations & Strategy

Drove sustained, rapid growth in the DC market, managing as many as 20 direct reports. Launched and refined uberPOOL in Washington D.C., Miami, Atlanta, and Philadelphia. Built the POOL pricing model, led product testing, and developed playbook to continue scaling POOL to additional markets.

AIA Contract Documents is a SaaS-based contracting and collaboration suite designed to mitigate risk in the design, construction, and ownership of projects and facilities.  The company was created in October 2020 as a result of a private equity carve out by True Wind Capital following 30 years of retail and eCommerce product sales by the American Institute of Architects with employees in the US and Canada.

As an executive leader in the organization, I am responsible for leading all financial activites of the company and providing strategic direction for responsible fiscal management and growth success, including all accounting, financial, planning, tax, procurement, risk management, and treasury activities.

Federated Wireless

Federated wireless created and operates a SaaS spectrum sharing solution to access citizen's band spectrum (CBRS), enabling customers to create secure private wireless networks without significant spectrum capital outlay, splitting the overall market with Google.

Hands on leadership of FP&A, Treasury, Corporate Development, and Operational Finance driving both top down and bottom up efforts
-Led development, roadshow, and diligence of marketing and financial materials for successful $72mm Series D fundraise completed in April 2022
-Completed and signed Federated's first financial audit for 2019 and 2020 after deconsolidation from early investor
-Drove KPI based approach to budget planning, aligning scale with leading indicators to insure hires are timed with revenue attainment
-Building long-term control environment, planning and hiring financial leadership at appropriate levels for scale

Vice President, Finance

Enviva

Enviva designs, builds, and operates wood pellet manufacturing facilities and deep-water terminals, exporting millions of metric tons of wood pellets to Northern Europe and Asia to displace coal in heat and power generation facilities.  Employees are located in Japan, Germany, UK, and the United States.

Led global finance and administration functions, including equity and compensation across corporate, manufacturing, and port operations, while continuing with prior planning and investor relations activities.
Contributed the following notable successes in the elevated role:
»Aligned new plant compensation model to IPO investment case model, ensuring long-term plant financial performance meets investor and analyst expectations.
vNegotiated platforms and providers, migrated to self-funded plans, incentivized consumerism, achieved plan transparency, and created and launched well-being programs all of which resulted in  25% YoY reduction in employee medical claims totaling $2M.
» Streamlined and enhanced company compensation structure, and transitioned to market-based wage rate schedule across all exempt and non-exempt roles resulting in 10% reduction in turnover.
» Established trusted platform/fiduciary, eliminated HCE penalties reinventing non-exempt 401k messaging, and improved participation which led to 50% decrease  in 401k participation fees.

Vice President

Built and managed corporate finance and corporate development teams to drive executive, public board, JV, and private equity partner decision making in a complex Master Limited Partnership.  Built team of analysts and worked hands-on to develop enterprise modeling, asset modeling, and capital stack modeling for over $1B in third-party and common-control acquisitions and associated fund raising from capital markets, debt, and private equity.
» Drove IPO and fundraising efforts, managed buy-side analyst development, conducted S-1 forecasting, developed road show presentation, and formulated lender Q&A all of which led to simultaneous $230M IPO and $200M debt raise.
» Standardized forecasting assumptions and improved automation which optimized forecasting and budgeting.
» Build and led FP&A and Business Development departments, teams and processes, created strategic business plans and end-to-end budgets, assessed M&As, determined capital projections and  revenue, expense and SG&A forecasts, and tracked results which ensured ongoing sustainability and profits.
» Managed analysis, build financing structures, and presented findings and suggestions which led to $600M in common-control and 3rd party acquisitions.

CARFAX is a dealer-paid subscription service that helps consumers buy, sell, and maintain vehicles with confidence.

Drove enterprise-wide financial analysis to support business decisions in sales operations, marketing, pricing, FP&A, and competitive intelligence, and achieved these outstanding outcomes:
» Provided strategic leadership, and reviewed and presented key product pricing strategies to executives which led to double digit revenue growth.
» Leveraged traffic-based pricing, established pricing model for Used Car Listing Product, prevented waste, revised data contract review process, and achieved approval on most deals in 1 business day resulting in $1M in incremental revenue in just 90 days.
» Identified opportunities, developed business plans, and introduced sales, product, and financial initiatives all of which maximized EBITDA.
» Created and presented valuation modeling to executive leadership on new business efforts and 3rd party acquisitions resulting in $5M in incremental revenue.

Director - Forecasting, Modeling and Analysis

Reporting to the Vice President of Data Acquisition, leading financial analysis on potential data purchases, partnerships, and joint ventures as well as planning activities including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

•	Created KPIs and presented weekly to CEO to identify the most valuable data sources and drive acquisition efforts.

•	Dropped contract ratifications to two days by developing and leading rollout of a financial modeling process and contract review process for new data sources.
