Provide ML/NLP expertise for an implementation of Synthesys for a key financial services customer. Synthesys is a large-scale, natural language analysis application built on the Hadoop platform.

Developed template-based method to identify specific events in natural language, based on customer use cases. Including: gifts/bribes and financial transactions of commodities and foreign currency.

Developed method to adapt generic use-case lexicons to customer data with Google word2vec. Resulted in higher quality (increased precision and recall) identification of language events versus generic lexicons.   

Developed a method to identify boilerplate content in communications using a Bloom Filter. The method requires minimal supervision, only samples of target boilerplate text.
