 An MBA in HR from LBSIM, she has more than 17 years experience in HR strategies, counselling, leadership development, change management,Soft skill training, and POSH Training. 

She is working as Diversity and Inclusion partner with several organizations. She has helped several corporates across India in enhancing their inclusion through Gender Sensitization Programs,  Breaking bias workshops, Allyship Awareness, and LGBTQ awareness. She has conducted diagnostics studies and surveys for understanding cultural impediments to create an inclusive culture and setting up Diversity and Inclusion Charter and Communication designs.

If a nation can act, why can’t we?

Reports say that China has declared the death penalty for child sexual abuse.

And here we are, still debating timelines, procedures, and “due process” while children continue to suffer.

Let me be clear.

• Child sexual abuse is not a “mistake.”
• It is not “impulse.”
• It is not “weakness.”

It is VIOLENCE against the most 
defenseless members of society.

The question is not about politics.

The question is about priority.

• When a three year old is assaulted.
• When a child is found buried.
• When families are destroyed forever.

What message are we sending if justice takes years?

This is not about rage.
This is about deterrence.

If the harshest punishments exist in law, they must be implemented with speed and certainty.

If they don’t exist, lawmakers must have the courage to revisit them.

A country that cannot protect its children has failed its future.

So I ask — how many more headlines before we decide enough is enough?
