5 things I didn’t do to build my personal brand:

5. Post every single day
I chose clarity over frequency.
3 strong posts a week > 7 rushed ones.

4. Copy viral formats
I didn’t chase trends.
I focused on saying the same core message in different ways until people understood it.

3. Try to sound smarter than I am
No big words.
No complicated frameworks.
Just how I’d explain it to a client on a call.

2. Wait to feel confident
I posted while unsure.
Confidence came after repetition, not before it.

1. Build it alone in my head

What does real wealth look like to you?

What no one talks about in women’s wellness leadership.

Not the science. Not the policy.
Not the hormones.

The psychology of being the one who holds the answers.

I work closely with women who teach other women to reconnect with their bodies.

They speak about cycles.
Energy.
Nourishment.
Rest.

And they believe in it deeply.
But here’s the quiet part.
When you become the voice of remembering,
it becomes harder to admit when you feel disconnected yourself.

Because now you’re “the one who knows.”

You can’t just say: “I feel lost in my own body this week.” “I’m tired of tracking.” “I don’t want to be wise today.”

So instead, you stay composed.
You teach regulation. While privately feeling dysregulated.

You speak about slowing down. While answering DMs at 10pm.

You encourage women to listen to their cycle. While overriding your own to meet deadlines.

Not because you’re fake. But because leadership creates distance.

And distance is lonely.
The real tension isn’t between women and their bodies.

It’s between the woman and the identity she built around helping others.
That identity feels powerful. It also feels heavy.

No one talks about how much emotional discipline it takes to be the calm voice in the room.

And how rarely that voice gets held in return.

This Women’s Day, I had a small moment that made me stop for a second.

I on-boarded this client a month ago!
I sent a message to one of my clients just wishing her a peaceful and happy women's day.

Along with that I shared how much she inspired me and how she has been showing up while we were working together :) 

And this was her reply :) 

I read that and just sat there for a minute.

Because a lot of people think what I do is just writing posts.

Content.
Hooks.
LinkedIn strategy.

But the real work is different.

Sometimes it’s helping someone say the thing they’ve been holding back.
Sometimes it’s helping them see the value in their own story.
Sometimes it’s just giving them space to talk about their work honestly without feeling like they need to perform.

And when that happens, things start to move.
Their voice becomes clearer.
Their ideas land better.
The right people start noticing.

Moments like that remind me why I care about this work so much.

Because it’s not really about LinkedIn.
It’s about helping someone’s work reach the people who need it.

It’s about helping someone’s work move forward.
And that means a lot to me.

I’ve been watching her show up and inspire people for a while now.

She works in the mental health space, creating safe places for people to talk about things that aren’t always easy to say out loud.

So a small thought after Women’s Day:
To the women building things, helping people, leading quietly, and showing up every day even when it’s not easy - your work matters.

Probably more than you think.
And I’m grateful to be part of that in my own small way. ❤️
