Praveen is relentlessly pushing the boundaries of innovation and excellence in cybersecurity. I am thrilled to share that I've contributed to a G𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱! By taking the Responsible AI Pledge alongside thousands of fellow citizens, I played a small part in the most successful AI responsibility campaign in 24 hours. 

With over 𝟮𝟱𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬+ 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘀 recorded between 16–17 February 2026, this achievement is a powerful testament to India’s collective commitment to ethical and accountable AI.

While I followed the 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗔𝗜 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 closely through media reports rather than attending in person, the energy of the movement was palpable. Hosted under the 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗔𝗜 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 by GoI MeitY, the Summit brought together global leaders and innovators to champion a unified purpose: 𝗔𝗜 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲, 𝗔𝗜 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗹.

Taking the 𝗔𝗜 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 was a proud moment for me. It reinforces my commitment to advancing inclusive and human-centric AI practices that prioritize transparency and equitable benefit.

I spent the past few Saturdays privileged to lead sessions on 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗰𝘆 at REVA Academy for Corporate Excellence - RACE, REVA University. Engaging with a diverse cohort of both fresh graduates and seasoned working professionals made for a truly dynamic exchange of real-world perspectives.

A few highlights from our time together:
🏆 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: We recognized our meritorious students who excelled in our hands-on workshops and in-class quizzes.
♀️ 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆: On the eve of #InternationalWomensDay, I took a moment to encourage our female students to claim their space in cybersecurity—a field where their voices are vital yet under-represented.

A huge congratulations to Bindu Shree for being named Module Champion, and a special shout-out to Karan N V for his proactive support as an intern in ensuring our sessions ran seamlessly.

It was energizing to connect with industry veterans and the next generation of Gen Z talent.

Building the next generation of cyber defenders is a responsibility I truly cherish and over the past several years I've taken it as a personal mission to contribute to the cyber security industry and the student community.
 
Last month, I had the privilege of visiting KSR College Of Engineering in Tiruchengode. Addressing the students of the CSE – Cyber Security Department was an invigorating experience. We dove deep into the evolving landscape of skills, emerging trends, and the varied career opportunities within the various cybersecurity domains.

Beyond the classroom, I spent valuable time with the esteemed faculty of the IT & CSE Departments. Our discussions focused on: 

✅ Forging stronger industry-academia collaborations. 
✅ Continuous faculty upskilling to keep pace with rapid tech shifts. 
✅ Practical strategies to make students "industry-ready" from day one.

The energy on the sprawling KSR campus was contagious, fueled by the Institution’s Innovation Council and the Centre for Sustainable Development Goals.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. M. Venkatesan, Dean, Dr. P. Meenakshi Devi, Principal, Dr. MURUGESAN P, HoD - CSE and Dr Magendiran Natarajan for the warm invitation and the flawless hospitality.

Getting to visit the Ardhanareeswarar Temple was the perfect spiritual conclusion to a productive academic visit. 🙏 The view from the hillock was as serene as the hospitality I received throughout my visit.

● 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 & 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘁𝘆:2025 marks a new era where evolving threats are driving up the price of protection and the difficulty of staying secure.
● 𝗔𝗜 𝘃𝘀. 𝗔𝗜: Criminals are using AI to lower entry barriers, launching highly sophisticated deepfake social engineering and adaptive malware.
● 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲: The shift from conventional to digital conflict is real—as seen in recent operations where nation-states deployed APT attacks, disinformation, and infrastructure hacking.
● 𝗧𝗵𝗲 "𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗔𝗴𝗲" 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗩𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿: We are now facing advanced risks from Quantum Computing, IoT/OT vulnerabilities, and Extended Reality (XR) exploits.
● 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁: The implementation of India’s DPDP Rules 2025 is a game-changer, mandating stricter data governance and organizational accountability.
● 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗶𝘃𝗼𝘁: Success now requires moving from reactive defense to proactive cyber resilience by prioritizing:
* Human-centric security 
* Zero Trust architectures 
* Leveraging AI for proactive defense
