After 15+ years leading analytics, operations, and demand gen teams, I expanded my focus from marketing into AI product development. Why? Because I’ve seen GTM teams struggle with tools built by people who never had to hit a number.

I care less about vanity metrics and more about building systems that actually support revenue teams—from strategy to execution.

I stepped into product while continuing to lead marketing because after implementing countless GTM tools, I kept running into the same frustrating patterns. When integrations broke promises, I built workarounds. When insights fell short of what teams actually needed, I found ways to get real answers—validated by the people whose quotas depended on them.

Leading cross-functional teams taught me to balance trusting data with trusting people. Now I bring that mindset to both marketing and AI product development—solving problems from the user’s perspective, not just the business case.

At every step, I’m asking: Could AI fundamentally change how we do this? Not just automate what’s already broken. The goal? Products that deliver genuine value to the people using them every day, marketed honestly without inflated promises.

We're flying solo - no peer review, no safety net. And when our stuff breaks? We scramble and fix it.

So here's my ask to marketing and ops folks: Share the value of AI code review with your engineering team - a different AI tool built specifically for review. One that goes beyond the diff and looks at full repo context, org standards, ticket history. Not the same AI that wrote the code.
