5 things I do to get inbound leads every day [ no fancy stuff ]:

1/ Optimized profile:

I have optimised my LinkedIn profile for my Target audiences
( Headline, cover, featured section, about section, role)

So when they visit my profile, in just a few seconds, they get clarity on these 3 things
→ what I do,
→ who I help and
→ what they can expect from me.

If my profile is not clear on these 3 things, they are not gonna take any action.

2/ Strategic Content:

Only posting is not enough, what you are posting matters. I post
7 times a week
→ 1 Case study
→ 1 Objection handling
→ 1 Personal story/thought
→ 2 How tos
→ 2 Quick fixes

3/ Use Data:

There is no point in getting likes, comments if you are not using them.

I reach out to every single person who:
→ Like my post
→ Comment on my post
→ Visit my profile
→ Follow me

4/ Comments:

I spend at least 15-30 Minutes every single day commenting with:
→ 3-5 Big accounts [ relevant ones ]

5/ New connections:

I lost half of my business overnight.

Here’s the rule most people learn too late:

You don’t lose business when you lose followers.
You lose business when your business only works because of followers.

Followers are rented. Systems are owned.

Losing that account sucked.

But it forced the right lesson:
Stop building profiles. Build businesses.

Most business owners post everything they think of. I do the opposite.

If an idea doesn’t survive these 4 questions, it never sees the light of day.

Step 1: The ROI Filter
I ask: Which stage does this serve?
Awareness, consideration, or decision.
If it doesn’t move someone closer to working with me, it’s out.

Step 2: Check for lived proof.
Have I done this?
Seen it work?
Applied it with a client or in my own business?
If it’s just theory, it doesn’t get posted.

Step 3: Run the “today” test.
Is this a problem my ideal client is actively dealing with right now?
Not “nice to know.” Not “interesting.”
Urgent.

Step 4: Offer alignment test.
If this post has nothing to do with:
 • my freebie
 • my service
 • my offer ecosystem
I rethink it.
Content shouldn’t be random. It should quietly point somewhere.

Killing the bad ideas is only half the battle. 

Making the good ones perform is the other half.

But LinkedIn isn’t “showing LESS content.”
It’s getting sharper about who content is actually for.

Their October 2025 research explains this clearly.

The feed now uses LLM embeddings to narrow hundreds of millions of posts down to roughly 2,000 candidates per user.

Which means something important:

Your content isn’t judged in isolation.
It’s judged by who it reaches first.

The algorithm learns your audience from early engagement. Not from your bio. Not from your hashtags.

This is cohort seeding.

If the first few people engaging with your post are misaligned, the system learns the wrong lesson about your work and quietly limits it, killing your reach.

A weak hook = a wasted post. 

Give me 43 seconds to prove this.

Your hook isn’t just a catchy first line.
It decides if your audience even meets your idea.

I’ve been writing on LinkedIn for 19 months now and trust me, attention here works in layers:

1. The hook → decides if you’ll pause.
2. The next 2 lines → decide if you’ll stay.
3. The body → decides the post is worth the time.
4. The end → decides if you’ll make an effort to engage.

If you lose your audience at step 1,
