So I did what anyone would do. I clicked their profile.
No clarity on what they actually do. No proof of the results they’re talking about. No visible process.

Just a generic headline and scattered experience.

That’s the part people miss.
Your content can sound smart. Your DMs can be persuasive.

But your profile is the moment of truth.

It’s where credibility either compounds… or collapses.

If your profile doesn’t reflect your expertise, people won’t argue with you. They’ll just quietly disengage.

Because on LinkedIn, your profile isn’t a bio. It’s a landing page.

It should answer three things instantly:
What do you do?
Who is it for?
Why should I trust you?

If someone has to dig, guess, or connect dots, you’ve already lost them.

So fix the page, people check before they decide whether to believe you.

1/ Start with the problem, not the prompt:

Before asking AI to write anything, define:
• Who you help
• The exact problem they’re struggling with

AI should amplify your message, not guess it.

2/ Add your experience:

AI gives information. You give perspective.

Edit the draft with:
• Your story
• Your client results
• Your lessons

That’s what builds authority.

3/ Tie every post to your offer (or at least 75% of your weekly content):

Most AI posts educate… and stop there.

Instead:
Problem → Insight → Solution → Offer.

Your content should naturally lead to how you help.

4/ Use clear CTAs:

Don’t end with “Hope this helps.”
End with: “DM me ‘PLAN’ if you want help with this.”

Content should move people closer to working with you.

5/ Stay consistent with ONE message:

AI makes it easy to create lots of content.

But authority comes from repeating the same core message from different angles.

AI writes faster. Strategy converts faster.

Me: “But do they really need that basic information? The kind they can easily find on Google?”

Prospect: “Hmm, maybe not. But then what should I post?”

Me: “Posting educational content isn’t enough. To build trust and get them to buy from you, you need:

→ A strategy that connects your content to your Ideal Clients’ specific problems and goals.
→ A strategy that can Attract →Nurture →Convert your audiences.
→ A system for leading conversations in your DMs and comments to build trust and guide them towards working with you.

Prospect: “Interesting. But how can I create that?”

Me: “You’ve got two options:

2/ Comment “Strategy”  and let's see if we are the right fit. If so, I'll create and implement the entire strategy for you.

People don't ignore your DMs because they're not interested. They ignore them because they can spot a sales pitch in the first 5 words.

We've all gotten them.
"Hey! Loved your content. I help coaches scale to 6 figures..."
Or my personal favorite: "I don't usually reach out like this, but..."

Yes you do. That's literally what you're doing right now.

The problem isn't that DMs don't work.

It's that yours sounds exactly like the 47 other DMs sitting in their "message requests" folder.

Here's what I do instead:

I actually read what they posted + profile. Then I ask about it.

That's it. No pitch hiding behind fake interest.

Because here's the thing, if someone's dealing with a problem you solve, the conversation will naturally go there. You don't have to force it.

And if it doesn't go there? They probably weren't your ideal client anyway.

Stop trying to "optimize" your DM script.

Just talk to people like a normal human.

→ Don’t overload with information

Ignoring that the person on the other end is drowning in identical messages.

Waiting 6 months to see results kills motivation. Create weekly wins. One client inquiry this week = proof it's working.

3/ Reduce the effort required: If creating content takes 4 hours, you'll quit. Batch it. Repurpose it. Make it take 45 minutes. Sustainable effort = sustainable results.

4/ Celebrate micro-ROI: Someone saved your post? That's ROI. Someone messaged you "this helped"? That's ROI. Stop waiting for the sale. Recognize the progress.

Here’s the psychology:

The brain categorizes fast.

If it can’t label you quickly, it ignores you.

Pattern builds memory.
 
Memory builds authority.
 
Authority builds demand.

Right now your content might be “good.”

But if it’s not cohesive, it won’t compound.

Make socials "un-chayotic":
-One clear theme.
-One recognizable delivery style.
-One message repeated until people say it for you.

Pick the main theme.

Repeat it from different angles.
 
Tie your stories back to it.
 
Let your audience recognize the pattern.

Marvel works because everything connects back to the same universe.

The other day someone DM’d me:
“Jess, what do you mean by chayotic?”

Which tells me 2 things:
1. y’all are actually paying attention
2. some of you are tired and don’t even know what to call it yet

So let me explain without turning this into a dictionary.

I didn’t invent chayotic to be quirky..

It’s what happens when you’re the one handling socials, running the business, answering Slack, living real life… and still expected to be “on.”

Chayotic is when you’re running socials off adrenaline.

You’re posting fast.
 
Editing captions in the car.
 
Refreshing stats in line at Starbucks.
 
Deleting because it “felt weird.”

That’s chayotic.

It does sound like I misspelled chaotic.

Chaotic is when you’re done.

Cooked.
 
Over it.
 
One minor inconvenience away from deleting the app.

Chaotic quits.

Chayotic keeps going.

But here’s where people get confused.

Unchayotic doesn’t mean peaceful.

It means controlled "fire".

You don’t delete the chaos.

You use it.

Bad day? That’s content.

Burnout creeping in? That’s a hook.

Overthinking? That’s a story.

Instead of panicking privately, you channel it strategically.

You turn emotional clutter into content currency.

You stop letting the pressure drain you…

and start letting it attract.

Same chaos.

Different direction.

Because the goal isn’t to kill the chaos.

Who else is kinda over carousels?
Not mad at them.
Just… tired. 
Like eating Chipotle 3 days in a row and pretending you’re fine.
Every carousel feels like opening Canva and signing a lease.
Fonts. 
Slides. 
Frameworks.
Suddenly you’re doing unpaid PowerPoint cosplay on a Tuesday.
Some thoughts don’t want 8 slides.
They want 1 sentence, bad lighting and the confidence of a bad idea.
Carousels say stay with me.
I don’t want to stay.
I want to skim, judge quietly, and keep scrolling like it’s TikTok at 1 a.m.
If your idea only works stretched across 10 slides, the idea might be doing CrossFit to avoid being questioned.
Carousels aren’t dead.
They’re just exhausted.
Like all of us holding a Starbucks cup and pretending this is sustainable.
Sometimes effort isn’t the flex.
Sometimes one line and the nerve to post it is enough.

Have you mess up in public and your brain just factory resets? That was me, standing there like I need an adultier adult.

So yes, I broke a jar of marinara in the grocery store.

And I don’t mean a polite spill. 

I mean red everywhere like I accidentally launched a low-budget crime documentary called The Girl vs. Pasta.

And I just froze.

Not because of the glass.

But because my brain immediately went wow… if you can’t hold a $3.79 jar, what exactly are you holding together in life.

That escalated quickly.

For 3 sec I genuinely thought this is how civilizations fall. 

Not war or politics. Weak grip strength.

I even considered walking away like maybe this is performance art and someone else will claim it.

But the sauce was on my shoes, which felt symbolic, like I cannot escape the consequences of my own hands.

And then the plot twist hit me.

Tomatoes and chayote actually go together.

So technically I wasn’t attacked.

I was sabotaged by a future partnership.

Imagine getting betrayed by something that was supposed to complement you.

That’s like your comfort zone quietly plotting your downfall.

And suddenly it wasn’t about the jar.

It was about how fast I was moving.

How much I was carrying.

How everything feels fine until one small slip makes you question your entire operating system.

Because no one actually cared.

They just walked around it.

But in my head I had already narrated a full documentary called The Fall of the Chayote Queen.

It’s wild how the mess is tiny but the meaning we attach to it is massive.

One spill.

And my brain said maybe you’re not actually overwhelmed.

The jar didn’t break me.

The story I told myself almost did.

Sometimes it’s not the mess, it’s the meaning you attach to it.

You have to feed it regularly or it gets distant and stops recognizing you.

Ignore it for weeks and come back acting surprised when it doesn’t listen.

No, it doesn’t care that you were busy or “working on big things.”

Consistency isn’t a growth hack. It’s the bare minimum cost of being visible.

Stealing content is the laziest growth hack since buying followers and pretending it’s organic.
