I wanted to take Pottery in high school. It sounded Fun. Creative. But it was risky because:

The teacher gave out a lot of B's. 
And I couldn't bare to ruin my GPA with an art class.

So I never stepped up to the wheel.

That was my inner Good Girl making a decision for me. 

She didn't stop there ↓

In college, I wanted to take entrepreneurship & psych. But I stuck with Chemical Engineering because saying it was my major gave me validation that I was smarter than other people.

In consulting, I designed a 10-year timeline to Partner via getting my MBA at 24, because that's what everyone else was doing. I couldn't get myself to write the application essays.

In tech, I chased the fastest promotion into a leadership role that meant endless 1:1s. I realized very quickly: not for me.

When I started my coaching business, I looked for the "right" strategy so it would "work." 

So I put my work into a box that I thought other people wanted from me, a few degrees off from what I actually wanted to create.

Every single time: I outsourced my power. 

Universities. 
Companies. 
Promotion paths. 
Business coaches. 
The "rules of success."

And every single time I learned the same lesson:

Living your life for others' approval means 
sacrificing a life that is true to yourself.

And that caps the impact & income you can create.

Here's what I know now:

The inner Good Girl isn't the enemy. 
She kept you safe. She got you far.

But she'll also keep you caged, bored, and protecting a life a few degrees (or a major tilt) off from what you actually want.

Be honest, has this ever happened to you?

You find yourself thinking...

"My intuition is telling me to make a big bet in this new direction, but dang I wish I had a bit more clarity on what exactly this next chapter looks like."

You catch yourself.

"Old me would have waited for clarity.

I couldn't stop crying on a coaching call last week.

I've been in this intimate mastermind for 5 months. 
Working with my coach for almost 2 years.

I trust her wholeheartedly.

And still, I squirmed as she dug deeper to get to the root of my block. I just wanted to get out of the hotseat. 

I felt that familiar red feeling rise up in my cheeks as tears welled in my eyes: 

Shame.

I was embarrassed to be fully seen in the mess.

Seen not being the version of myself who has it all "figured out" (no one does), or at least feeling jazzed up to figure it out.

And then I felt guilty about feeling ashamed. 

What a beautifully vicious cycle.

Here's what I've learned the hard way:

When you are in the midst of evolution, 
your old identity will not die quietly.

You will find yourself slipping back into old patterns that you swore you'd never do again – and then accidentally shame yourself for it.

Your ego will get loud to keep you safe… and stuck.

The last thing you need is more solo willpower. 
That doesn't work.

You need a space to be witnessed in your own evolution. A space to be held to a higher standard of who you're becoming.

You need mirrors to reflect your growth that you're somehow blind to half the time and even more importantly – the blind spots and old patterns keeping you rooted in your outdated identity.

Vs. living life by the shoulds and the supposed to's.

Most women I work with have already taken big leaps.

Made bold moves all around.

But underneath all the external success, 
their "Good Girl" is still running the show,
looking for what she should do to "get it right"

She's the part of you that:

→ Looks for the right strategy so she can avoid making any more mistakes or being seen figuring it out. Looks strategic, but feels like outsourcing your power.

→ Writes the fiery post… then deletes half of it before hitting publish. Looks helpful, feels watered down.

→ Says "yes" when she very much means "no" and contorts herself in tiny ways to keep the peace with clients, colleagues, friends. Looks like people pleasing, feels like self-abandonment.

→ Chooses the safer, comfier pathway over the one filled self-expression, curiosity, and way more unknown. Looks responsible, feels soul-crushing.

Sound familiar? 

The Good Girl doesn't mean to limit you. 

She just wants to keep you Safe. Palatable. Liked.

This worked really well as an old sister, the role model child, the teachers' pet. But now, you're all grown up... and your inner Good Girl is still driving the show.

It's officially the year of the fire horse!! Here's why this fresh energy matters for you today:

The Chinese Zodiac's year of the wood snake in 2025 helped us shed what couldn't stay:

- relationships that no longer aligned
- limiting jobs, career paths, businesses 
- old habits and patterns blocking growth
- friendships that weren't a match

It felt like everyone I talked to was going through a quantum crumble...

Myself included. 

It was simply preparation. 
The craziness was not happening TO us but FOR us.
 
The shedding was required to reveal the parts of you that can't come with you to your next level. 

How did Michelangelo create the statue of David?
By removing every piece that wasn't David...

In 2025, I learned to let go of:

- overworking to prove my worth
- second guessing my path
- hiding my truth to be liked
- poorly created boundaries

And probably 19849490 other lessons.

Now, it's the year of the fire horse (which only comes around every 60 years). This new energy is all about momentum, power, grounded intuition.

This is big LFG get visible, make the bold leap energy

Everything you shed in the year of the wood snake is kindling for the fire horse to burn even brighter. 

So the more wild your 2025 was, the better 2026.

I was posting on LinkedIn for months without a lot of traction. Then I 2x'ed my LinkedIn presence 30 days later. Here's what sparked it:

Late September 2023, I hopped on a free masterclass from a random chick I'd been following online for awhile. 

It was about casting your vision and stepping into it more boldly... or something like that. 

I'd been working on my personal brand & coaching business for a few months, but I wasn't All In committed. 

Work was crazy and there just wasn't enough time in the day.

During that call, we did a future self activation. 

It shifted everything for me. 

My future self told me very clearly: 
"Go back to God, He gave you your why."

And so I did. I returned to a spirit of service that had originally sparked my coaching business and personal brand.

In October, I went All In.

I doubled my LinkedIn following by showing up daily and saw what was possible when I prioritized my vision.

1 year later, I was fully self-employed, celebrating my first $20K month just after launching my Accelerator program. 

I felt so lit up about my work & what was possible.
And that was only the beginning.

This journey began because I showed up to a class that got me tapped back into my Power. It was simple.

I wasn't too busy to go All In on my vision, I just wasn't clear yet on how much agency I had to change that ; )

That 90 minute masterclass fundamentally shifted how I saw myself, and what was possible for me because something clicked on a deeper level that I couldn't unsee.

What was your "I'm All In" moments building your brand?

When's the last time you paused to reflect on the women who walked so you could run? Here's why you should:

Tomorrow is International Women's Day. 

Today, I'm thinking about:

→ My Native American ancestor who fought for her land
→ Activists who ensured we could learn, vote, earn
→ My Grammy who created a family lineage of 30+
→ My mom who treats everyone she meets like family

These women went First. Dang I got lucky.

And so did you.

We're currently living at the best time in the history of the world to make our wildest dreams come true.

We have the world's greatest minds in our pockets. 
Limitless distribution of our work for free. The ability to make our own money, choose our partners, live wherever we want, and design a life around what matters most.

If the women who sacrificed so much for us could see us now — with all of this at our fingertips — I think they'd say: 

"Please don't waste this opportunity."

The world needs more women in power. Full stop.

There are generations of girls coming after us who need to see what's possible. They will live in the world we choose to build.

13 days ago I started a 100 day series to share my raw truth on the internet every day. Here’s why:

I wanted public accountability to release my visibility fears. 

I’ve wanted to lean into video content for the past 2 years. 

I’ve dabbled. I’ve committed. I’ve fallen off. 

When I examined the underlying reason, it was simple. 

I was waiting for the perfect conditions. 

This looks like:
- My energy up 
- Makeup on
- Not wearing pajamas
- Hair looking halfway decent 
- I have something bomb to share 

Waiting for the perfect conditions goes against everything I stand for. 

So I created conditions that cut through all that noise. 

Post for 100 days straight. 
No matter how I’m feeling, what I look like, or what I have to share. 

What to post? 

Simple: My truth. 

I titled this series Truth Before Proof - where I’m sharing the behind the scenes of my quantum leap & all the hard truths that have helped me leap before. I'm claiming this leap before it happens.

The goal is very simple: 

Express my truth, gather data, build unshakeable self trust. And drop some value bombs along the way. 

I could have chosen 10 days or 30 days.

I chose 100 days because there is no good way to muscle through 100 days. I have to embed it into my identity. 

I am ready to become a creator who is no longer afraid to be fully seen. 

And despite showing up on LinkedIn & sharing very vulnerably the past 2.5 years, there is so much I've kept to myself. 

Sharing authentically is how you take your power back. 

When you believe you have to hide parts of yourself, you are telling yourself:

I’m not fully worthy. If they only knew…

That’s BS. Share your truth and you will become magnetic to the people who so badly need permission to share their own. 

And most importantly - you will free yourself.

I finally watched the Tony Robbins documentary on my 16 hr flight from Africa to the USA. It was a potent reminder:

Your legacy is built over decades.

Not months. Not a couple years.
But over time, compounding impact.

Tony is a master of his craft because he dedicated his life to doing something that he couldn't NOT do. 

And never stopped.

He decided to alleviate suffering for as many people as humanly possible, and made it a part of his identity. 

You can alleviate suffering in many ways -- he was wicked smart to bring forth that mission in a way that aligned with his unique Zone of Genius: speaking. 

I look up to Tony and what he's built over decades so much.
It's a massive inspiration for what I desire to build.

So I'll leave you with a few questions to ponder today:

> What if your pain was the catalyst for your greatest purpose? How does that change things for you?

> What if your Zone of Genius is what you're meant to do? Because you have gifts & talents no one else does.

> What if your legacy is built by taking the first step... today? this month? this year? You can't compound what you don't begin.

We grow through what we go through.
And then we get to help others do the same.

The beauty of being Alive!!!

The "right" positioning. 
The "right" content strategy. 
The "right" way to sell.

Because you're smart and driven, you learn new skills. Fast.

Strategy isn't your problem. You already know enough to build something incredible. The problem is you don't trust yourself to do it YOUR way... and that way gets to create results.

>> So you hold back in sales conversations because you aren't fully convicted you're good enough to help that level of client yet.

>> You price based on what feels "accessible" instead of what reflects the actual value you deliver.

>> You edit your content down from what you really wanted to say to something... more professional. Safer for LinkedIn.

>> You build from your Zone of Excellence — what's provable, what people validate you for — vs. your Zone of Genius — where you lose track of time, the thing that feels almost too bold to claim.

You have the skills, the smarts, the strategies.

What's missing is the conviction to stop filtering yourself and build something that actually makes you come alive, even if it doesn't look like the most clear cut path forward.

That is feminine power in business. 
And right now, your Good Girl is muting it.

This is killing your magnetism and we've gotta change that!!
