Cybersecurity is complex, but your organization can take control. I am Bert, a passionate Cybermentor with over 25 years of experience in transforming cybersecurity within various organizations. My mission? To enable your company to independently and effectively deal with cyberthreats, from operational to strategic level. I focus on creating robust Cyberdefense and drastically reducing risks, taking into account the dynamics of geopolitical developments, but also the opportunities and threats from new technologies such as AI and Quantum computing.

My career includes successfully leading cybersecurity projects and departments, acting as a Security Manager in the Netherlands and abroad, and co-creating a consultancy company that flourished for 12 years. Whether it is managing a complex RFP or realizing a rapid XDR rollout, I deliver results that count. I also like to share my knowledge as a guest lecturer, speaker at conferences and chair.

In recent years I have rolled out an RFP in 6 weeks for a client and a rollout in 8 weeks of a fully working XDR environment for a client.
