I was fortunate enough to have the chance to learn from this experience, making quite a few mistakes and maybe a couple of things right.

- Established software development standards and good practices for the engineering team to improve productivity and ensure the best possible technology in place to support the business.
- Defined the metrics required to assess engineering teams' performance against the standards required
- Overseeing multiple projects, assigning and balancing workloads to engineering teams
- Defined multiple strategies to re-organize the whole engineering team several times, adapting and looking to ensure to deliver on our business goals. (since day 1)

- Worked with HR on candidate selection conducting technical interviews and filters

As part of the engineering team, I was leading the mobile team, focused on mobile applications for customers, and a cross-functional team responsible for developing technology for the warehouses.

- Built a world-class team, ensuring smooth communication inside and outside the team, fostering the design of high-quality software, to maximize the value that the team could offer to the company
- First contact point for the mobile team to the management, engineering teams, and all other departments 
- Sprint planning with the business management, being the contact for task estimation, technical feasibility, and helping the prioritization
- Managed the implementation of new features and iterations to improve Jüsto applications for customers with the mobile team
- Managed the implementation of new features and iterations to improve Jüsto operation inside warehouses with a cross-platform feature team (private in-house app and software)
- Conducted 1:1 with team members, hiring, and onboarding new candidates, managing people-facing tasks
- Other tasks include bug fixing, implementing automated tests, code reviews

Head of Mobile

As part of the founder technology team at Jüsto, I was involved in the whole steps and processes of the platform development.

- Developed the first versions of the Jüsto Web for staff and customers
- Designed the architecture and implemented the mobile applications for Android and iOS for Jüsto customers
- Designed the architecture and implementation for picking and dispatcher orders
- Further responsibilities included, building the first technical team in Mexico City, managing technical initiatives, and designing the first digital super-market product in warehouses and for customers

We released the platform in 2019, and Jüsto has raised more than 244M since launching.
