Hi - let me introduce myself. 

I am Phil - a Performance Coach working primarily with revenue leaders & salespeople. 

My mission is to decode Performance Psychology - and teach it to leaders, so they can get the most from their people. 

I worked in sales for 12 years, and have since built a successful coaching business, where I teach the fundamentals of Performance Psychology, and work with revenue leaders to build out high performing teams.

My ambition is to make coaching part of the culture of organisational life. Where people do jobs that are aligned to their core values, and to create environments where people grow personally & professionally EVERYDAY. 

I have studied human psychology & neuroscience as part of my coaching qualification - and adp[t 


I am trained in Performance Psychology, I also adopt many practices from the wellness space and eastern philosophy - which means my clients don't just get great results - they learn how to optimise mind+body, so they reduce stress, build emotional resilience, and generally feel great.

• Helping prospective customers to see how Assure can provide maximum return on investment and deliver exceptional results for their Health and Safety culture and practices, which in turn means less accidents, and less money lost to businesses as a result of workplace accidents. 

• Guiding prospective customers through the buying journey to ensure they only choose SHE Software if we are the right fit for their needs through a consultative and open approach.

• Delivery of exceptional sales process methodology ensuring a customer centric focus at each stage. 

• Demonstrating and enabling clients to realise the power which SHE Assure can provide in aiding the evidence of compliance within their business, and reinforcing a strong safety culture.  

• A strong understanding of the Health and Safety sector and how SHE Assure can help with compliance, including legislation and standards of best practice, such as HSG65, BS OHSAS 18001, RIDDOR and ISO14001 and adherence to future standards including ISO45001.

Business Development Manager

Sage

Channel Sales Manager for Sage's Mid-Market ERP Partners 

Sage supports it's partners through close account management, engagement and collaborative planning. 

Achievements:

• Enabled Partners to re engage with Sage and network with the relevant stakeholders through organising specific Partner event days. 

• Assisted key partners with formulating marketing and growth strategies, resulting in their expansion across the country and enabling the partners to continue to grow their business at a rapid rate. 

• Joint sales collaboration with Partners to deliver significant uplift in new business revenue, including a 50 user site worth over £45k to Sage, and £100k in spend to the Partner. 

• Identified and delivered a strategic joint investment opportunity of over £90k with a key Partner, focused on new growth and incremental sales delivery of Sage's key SaaS product Sage Financials.

• Of the 10 Partners I worked with, as a result of extensive support and re engagement 8 delivered significant growth in new business performance in the Sage portfolio.

Channel Sales Manager

Sage for Education empowers education finance leaders to effectively manage and control their school's finances with ease through Sage's ERP cloud based system. 

Achievements: 

• Worked closely with an 8 school Multi Academy Trust to standardise and streamline their financial management through leveraging the Sage for Education platform. Following the successful delivery of the software the Trust achieved a 70% reduction in time spent producing monthly reports. 

• Assisted a Multi Academy Trust in centralising their finance operations through collaboratively scoping the necessary change in working practises which could be enabled through transitioning to the Sage for Education platform. 

• Successfully  brought on board 23 new multi Academy Trusts and Colleges, representing a total of 74 individual school/colleges. 

• Collaborated with colleagues to create additional sales material including sample report packs, and improved proposal documentation which in turn helped to increase our win rate from 25% to 38%.

Education Regional Sales Manager

3P Learning

3P Learning provides multiple award winning education digital resources through a SaaS model that help schools to bring the curriculum to life, and leverage the exciting advances of technology within education to improve results, engagement, and pupil progress. 

Achievements: 

• Highest performing field salesperson for new business in 2016.

• Only employee to successfully deliver the entire suite of 3P Learning's programs to one school, enabling a complete overhaul in the schools homework process. As a result of integrating all 4 curriculum programs the school digitised homework and achieved significant uplifts in engagement, parent support, and marking efficiencies. 

• Co organised a multi school competition for SEN pupils through using 3P Learnings Maths program. The event received local press coverage and engaged over 100 students across. 

• Identified a use case for the Reading Eggs program in schools with a high percentage of EAL students. Following a successful pilot in which a school achieved an uplift of 0.5 on average for their EAL pupils' English level rating. 

• Worked closely with an 11 school cluster to identify ways to utlisie 3P Learnings spelling program to deliver improvement across all abilities at primary level in spelling engagement, progress and homework participation. 

• Successfully introduced three new marketing campaigns (including refer a friend scheme) which were rolled out across the country to the other territories.

Regional Sales Manager 

RM Education

Field based sales role within the Business Development team, for one of the market leaders in ICT provision to the public sector. Responsible for acquiring new customers for RM from both schools and colleges across the East Midlands.

Achievements: 

• Helped to provide a range of technology solutions to over 50 new customers during my tenure. 

• Worked closely with a primary school ICT co-ordinator to enable her to transform the provision of ICT across the school through implementation of an array of RM Educations flagship technologies including CC4 network, bring your own device scheme, broadband, and wireless infrastructure. As a result of this implementation students became far more engaged with ICT and the teachers regained faith and confidence in what had previously been an unreliable IT system. 

• Through a consultative and collaborative relationship I worked with a cluster of secondary schools to deliver an innovative provision of technology including mobile devices, digitisation of all homework, remote desktop technology thereby enabling all students to have access regardless of ability or background. This, along with other initiatives the schools launched, helped to drastically change the schools performance, behaviour and student participation. 

• Developed strong relationships with key RM partners, and helped to deliver an improved return on their investment through strategic business planning and identification of joint initiatives.

Field Sales Consultant

Represent the University in a friendly, open and professional manner.

Worked in a team to promote the University through giving tours of the University facilities to prospective students on open days.

Typically this role required me to work on Open days and give tours to small groups of parents and prospective students (10-20 people) and give an insight into the University, and promote all of its aspects and features to encourage high numbers of applications to the University.

As part of this role I have given presentations on student life to audiences of over 300 people and delivered these to various schools and colleges across the regional area.

First Class Honours in BA Sociology achieving a score of 78%. 
Awarded the highest student performance in Sociology in my second year, achieving an average score of 85%.

Deloitte

Professional services rotation, working for 3 weeks in Audit and 3 weeks in Corporate Tax.

First rotation involved working in core audit.

General day to day activities included reviewing board minutes, checking invoices matched the clients’ accounts on file, and liaising with the client to gain further information for our testing of revenue and expenditure.

There was a great deal of client interaction in this rotation and it helped me to further develop my client interaction skills.

The second rotation was in Corporate Tax, where Deloitte helps clients businesses become more tax efficient and provide cost effective advice and solutions to assist in progressing their business. 

In this service line I created new claim documents, completed Tax computations and returns, and re-analysed clients’ expenditure into smaller sub categories for inputting into the Tax computations. 

The summer scheme has provided me with invaluable experience in client focused financial services, and it has enabled me to develop my team working skills within a corporate environment, and my ability to provide excellent standards of service to clients and the specific needs of their businesses.
