I've spent my career working across engineering and operations, translating real-world constraints into structured technical decisions. I contributed to product development from both a technical and organizational standpoint, helping shape solutions that were not only technically sound, but deployable in real business environments.

Then AI arrived.
I didn’t have an AI background.
So I did what I always do: I learned it, fast.

Ten months later, this is what I do all day.
Designing AI automations, building agents, and integrating them into real systems where reliability matters.

Here’s what I’ve learned about it the hard way: you have to know what you’re doing. 

It's not a magic wand that will fix all your problems, don’t buy that from anyone.

I’m intentionally biased toward simple systems.
They’re easier to operate, maintain and much harder to break.

(Also, I hate visual clutter)

I’ve seen many birthday posts that go like “Here are [your age] things I learned.” Well, today I turn 33.

And I told myself I wouldn’t write a post like that because 

 a. I couldn’t come up with 33 things that I learned (lol)
 b. I didn’t want to be a cliché

But then, I remembered there are things I did learn the hard way over the years.

And I'd like to share them.

Here are 10 of them:

1. No one is coming to save you, you are the one you’ve been waiting for
2. What you put your energy towards, grows
3. What you don’t change, you accept
4. You cannot control other people’s opinion of you, stop killing yourself trying
5. What you think becomes what you say, learn to control your thoughts
6. Stop changing yourself to accommodate everyone else
7. You will outgrow people, that’s okay
8. Looking after your mind and body is the most important thing you can do
9. It is not too late to pursue things you buried in the past
10. Nothing is done to you, everything is done by you
