With over 20 years of experience, I’ve led transformative projects across diverse industries, including technology, medtech, consumer goods, and professional services—serving both B2C and B2B clients. In 2012, I founded Common Giant, where I helped companies harness branding as a competitive advantage in a crowded marketplace.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked client-side managing retail stores up to $52MM in revenue, served as VP of Brand Strategy on the agency side, launched an agency with global clients, and acted as a fractional CMO for multiple businesses. My experience spans branding, marketing strategy, and creative execution across a variety of business models.

Bad branding is a red flag 🚩 

And honestly, I suffer every time I see it.

If you know me a little, you know I have a long background in design, art, illustration, animation, typography, and more.

Add to that 22 years at Disney, where I experienced firsthand what it takes to master branding while leading hundreds of art directors, creators, designers, producers, artists, and technologists across more than 20 countries who made magic every day.

So when I see bad branding, I suffer like hearing nails on a chalkboard.

Unfortunately, I see it everywhere.

The problem is that most founders believe branding is just visuals: logos, colors, and fonts.

But branding is everything you do and say.

It's every single touchpoint where your business shows up.

And when you don't treat these as branding opportunities, you're leaving money on the table:

→ Your naming and how people remember you
→ Your website and the first impression
→ Your product experience and how it feels to use
→ Your social media presence and consistency across platforms
→ Your job postings and how you attract talent
→ Your email marketing and tone of voice

Leaving brand for later was a monumental mistake.

One of your first business decisions was a branding one:
