I joined the team at BM Financial to handle all commercial and business loans. In this time I was able to expand my knowledge of all lenders policies and ensure that clients were presented with the best solution based on their individual needs.

Starting at NAB on the graduate program of 2001 for six intense months, I was exposed to all jobs within the bank from teller, documentation, filing, home loans, business loans and transactional banking. After successfully completing the graduate program I was appointed to Business Banking Officer at Marrickville. 

Climbing the ranks to Credit Analyst, Relationship Manager in Corporate, Business Banking Manager In Custom Business and finally completing my tenure at the bank as Senior Business Banking Manager. 

Ten years came and went, and on ten years and one day, long service leave was taken and I decided to see what else was out there. 

In my last role at nab I was responsible for the management of a portfolio of medium to large sized commercial enterprises with turnover ranging between $10m and $100m+ per annum. Portfolio size was $125m+ in both deposits in lending.

•	Sales/Revenue: The main KPI in this role. To promote the bank’s products through to existing clients, in order to achieve revenue, specialist, lending & deposit targets. Portfolio generated $4m+ in underlying profit per annum. 
•	Maintain and Develop Relationships: with current clients & commercial lending introducers (Brokers, Solicitors, and Accountants). Manage and increase portfolio of introducers through proactive calling, the attendance of industry events and through referrals. Ensure that the relationship with both internal & external clients is developed & nurtured through efficient service and clarity of process & policy.

Senior Business Banking Manager 

Embarking on my entrepreneurial journey at the tender age of 11, I discovered my flair for business by selling avocados harvested from my backyard tree to the local fruit shop. The excitement of filling my backpack with green treasures and making the three-block trek to Bay Street was not just about making a sale; it was the initiation into a world of negotiation and understanding the dynamics of commerce.

While the avocado venture was fruitful, it also taught me valuable lessons. One defining moment occurred when the shop owner proposed paying me less per avocado—an early lesson in the concept of purchasing power. This experience laid the foundation for a business mindset that would evolve and flourish in the years to come.

Transitioning from avocados, I found a new avenue for profit in high school, trading basketball cards. The thrill of strategic trading and turning a profit fueled my passion for business. Post-university, I ventured into the 'real' world, embarking on a diverse career path that traversed a graduate program in business and corporate banking, finance broking within an accountancy firm, and exploring the intricacies of investing. Each experience equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the nuances of commercial lending.

The realisation dawned on me that my true calling lay on the other side of the table, from the perspective of a business owner. This realisation led to the creation of Peak Capital, a venture dedicated to specialising in Commercial Lending. Our approach is comprehensive; we have access to an extensive network of bank, non-bank, and private options, allowing us to find innovative solutions for even the most challenging loans.
